Check back regularly for news from the area of veterinary medicine and animal care tips from our expert staff!. Due to the massive influx of patients overwhelming the veterinary industry right now, we will now be requiring a deposit on all new client appointments at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied to the exam fee/services provided at the time of your pet's visit.
If it is your first visit with us, or your first visit with a new pet, please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for time to prepare your chart and complete any paperwork. We recommend you bring a fresh stool sample to your appointment for testing to make sure your pet is parasite free. If your pet is particularly nervous or reactive around other pets, please feel free to leave them in the car and come in to let us know you have arrived.

They had no compassion for my sick dog. They knew his diagnosis was terminal yet guilted me into putting him through tests, useless vet appts to say the same thing over and over. Sent me to the hospital with false hopes to get a bill for over $1100.00 plus meds over $250. This vets office cost me over $500.00. therefore in 4 days I spent over $$1700 on a terminally ill animal who now has to suffer in front of myself, my husband and my children because I can not afford any further treatments or cost of euthanasia.

We have been clients here for 11 years. They are more expensive than any vet we have used previously but when we moved here, they were recommended. Never felt they were overly friendly and every time we went in, they had a change in staff which should have been a sign. Saturday our beloved cat had an emergency situation and we called to have… an emergency visit as our cat was having trouble walking. The staff said they could not accommodate us even though we pleaded that this was serious and we had been a long time customer. They just flatly said no. What kind of a vet can’t take an

Abbott Road Animal Hospital has been truly helpful with Jack. They have answered my overabundance of questions over the years and my paranoias dealing with Jack. They are kind and compassionate. Thank you so much Abbott Road Animal Hospital. Trust me, you will not regret making them your pet's/pets' primary care.

I want to say Thank-You to the great staff at Abbott Rd. Animal Hospital. My Cat "Jade" likes them. He was attacked by an unknown animal (possibly a raccoon). He was terrified and they were just so kind and gentle with him. Thank goodness Dr. Melissa recommended that rabies shot in March. Thanks again so much.
