Services
Sewell Funeral Home is a family owned and operated business. We have been providing service for five generations. In 2008, the funeral home underwent major renovations to better serve the community. Our new chapel has a seating capacity of 143 people and our viewing/overflow room has a seating capacity of 84 people.
Pre-planning your funeral or a funeral for a loved one can lessen the burden, at the time of need, of the survivor. You will have the peace of mind in knowing that you have selected the type of funeral you want. The prearrangements can be paid in full or in part. If you do not want to prepay you can still provide just the vital information.
Sewell Memorial Gardens was established in 2015 in honor of Pinkney E. Sewell and Spencer E. Sewell. It was the vision of the Sewell Family to provide a cemetery that would serve the residents of our local community and surrounding areas. Whether you are pre-planning for your own burial or going through the process of losing a loved one, Sewell Memorial Gardens offers families a variety of burial options.

Was so impressed with the service we received from Sewell Funeral Home. I spoke with them by phone prior to coming in to make arrangements for the cremation of my stepfather. They worked with us over Easter weekend and came in to meet with us on Good Friday, arranged for his cremation to occur on Easter, and even called me that day to let me know what time he would be cremated to allow us to gather for a prayer service. They made everything very easy. They were kind and compassionate. ZERO pressure to buy additional services. They’re great!

When i lost my mom JEAN GLORIA MACKALL,The staff was kind courteous and very considerate. They handled my mom with the utmost care and allowed me to visit as i wished. I will never forget them,their kindness and gentleness and professionalism in such a time of stress. I thank the entire staff.
