HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT waste your time! My husband and I used them when we made a big out of state move from VA to CA.. and I have never had such a bad experience with any other company in my life! The worst customer service. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, money hungry, deceitful, and lots of lies. Everything seemed completely fine at the beginning when we were just getting a quote and planning to use them. But once we had signed papers, they were completely different people. Once they picked up our stuff, they took it to their storage lot, where it sat there for a

SCAM ALERT - Both them and their "insurance company" are scammers. They bounce you back and forth after stealing and damaging your stuff and try to exhaust you.

The owner of the company is named Shlomo Dostekam, google him and you'll find a whole list of fraud allegations and business he owned that have disappeared and filed for bankruptcy.

Update: Their insurance company CSI is a scam as well. FVL can request to "handle the claim themselves" at any time, so you won't even be compensated (minimally) for damages to your belongings.

If I could give them a negative score I would. 1 star is far more gracious than they deserve. We were estimated 2600 to get my parents and all of their stuff moved. Once the movers got there they called and said it'll be 3500-3800. My father lives off disability and can not afford more than the 2600 they signed a contract for so he gave up his couch, end tables, dressers, bed, dining room table and chairs and they STILL said they wanted 3000. They took full advantage of a disabled human being. He left his entire life in another state and since he wasn't there to regulate what the movers were doing

**DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON**

Adam H, my sales guy, was great at his job. He talked me out of all the bad reviews that I questioned him about. I've never written a review so felt it was important to not let anyone else fall into the same mistake. They will tell you whatever you need to hear.

Pickup: I was given a 2 day window and was told a dispatcher would call me 24 hours in advance of pickup. On the first day, a dispatcher called me and said the crew would be there in 20 minutes. I told him I wasn't ready because I didn't get the 24 hour notice and he got defensive

I would give 0 stars if I could. I'm shocked by how unprofessional and incompetent Future Van Lines has been. Here's a quick summary of my terrible moving experience from Baltimore to Seattle:

- $1000 worth of items were lost, including a queen bed (it's incomprehensible to me how an item this big could be "lost"), or damaged
- Our original move-out date was changed by the company at 5 pm on the second day of our agreed upon 2 day move-out window
- After our move-in experience when we discovered the lost and damaged items, it quickly became clear that Future Van Lines

Moved from PA to GA on Monday. Was told my things would be delivered between Monday-Wednesday. It’s now Wednesday. They are saying maybe Friday or next week until I receive my things and no reimbursement. They also quoted me $300+ under what it actually cost to move. Look elsewhere. And this is a parent company of others such as City Jump so beware before you book elsewhere.

Terrible experience. The salesman promised things that were not truly offered, such as a set time frame for delivery and the fact that my things would be separated in the truck by a metal wall from other people's items. The day of pickup I was treated very rudely by the man who was at my apartment. He was literally yelling at me on the phone. He tried to tell me within 5 minutes of entering my apartment that it would be $300-400 more than the estimate because I had more than was on the list, which wasn't true. Then 5 minutes later I received a copy of a new estimate for $1000 more. I told my neighbor

I wouldn't recommend this company. On a Monday I scheduled a short move within Arlington for 8 AM that Saturday. In the afternoon the day before on Friday they called and said they would arrive between 4 and 7 PM instead. Then they just never showed up. They did refund my deposit though, so I appreciate that at least.

This was the worst moving company I've ever used! Not only did they ignore my phone calls, they gave me times that they would be at my house to move my items and never showed up. They moved the items on the next day and showed up at 9 PM in the evening no actually it was 9:30 in the evening. After requesting to speak with a manager he was extremely rude and attempted to cancel my move because I was expressing how disappointed I was in their professionalism. My move was extremely small which was a daily easier job for movers (the only furniture I had was a patio set). The manager was condescending

I was lied to by the salesman trying to make the sale. He told me explicitly that they charged by the pound (I asked explicitly "And any overages to the quote will be charged by the pound at " to which he said "yes, you're locked into that rate") but they charged by the cubic foot when they came to pack and didn't tell me until after they had loaded everything to the truck. That violated the contract that says the foreman will notify of any changes, including shipment size, before providing services. I called the office during business hours before the packers left my

If I didn't have to leave one Star I wouldn't because they didn't deserve it.
My wife and I needed a "Professional Mover" move some furniture from her Late Aunts Estate in Virginia to our home in Florida. Some old antiques that are fragile and delicate, we even paid extra for blankets which we weren't allowed to keep so that what happened wouldn't happen.
A China Cabinet that's over 100 years old had the curved glass broken (see photo).
When asked they said that's too bad but they wouldn't offer to repair it and they never contacted us again

I had a move from Jersey to Texas with this company. They did do a good job of wrapping our furniture but when it arrived, a piece of our table was broken. I also have to say their communication is terrible! I was never told that they only had trucks running every 2 weeks out west. If I would have known that, I could have planned better. We were suppose to get 24 hours notice for delivery but I was called only 6 hours before they said they would arrive. So I left work early but then the movers showed up 2 hours later than their estimate. And during the whole process, I never knew who I should

Worst and most horrible experience and movers. Whatever quote you are giving will be doubled on the day of the move and they know you kind of don't have a choice. All the negative reviews about this company are true. Once you sign a contract, you don't hear from the sales department any more. My experience was with Peter Smith. They lie to you and THEY DO NOT HAVE A MOVING TRUCK. My property was picked up by some guys in a half loaded Penske truck. IT was delivered like 3 weeks later with a moving company who got the deal off dispatch. More than 1/4 of my property were damaged and some missing

This was by a landslide, one of the best moving experiences I've had. The last time I went through a major move, I was a kid and had no say in it. I remember them being a lot more stressful and disoriented. Last move I was apart of, I did just as much work as the movers did, which proved to me they were a group of misfits.

Luckily Future Van Lines proves to be different. COMPLETELY different. They were able to move all my furniture and boxes themselves. Nothing was harmed, broken, carelessly handled, or mistreated. They delivered everything to my new house intact and unloaded the items in
