We can take them as part of your move anywhere in the country in our specialized transport. When transporting your car, we load the automobile onto one of our trailers safely via split ramps.

I used Charming Movers to donate some furniture. It was somewhat complicated as they had to pick up furniture from two locations and move some around when they arrived at my apartment. Everyone was pleasant and professional and the move was handled with care, efficiency, and speed. Very pleased and would definitely use them again.

We contracted with Charming Movers two empty out a storage unit and take the furniture to Habitat for Humanity. The owner Cheri was very responsive, and helpful with suggestions throughout the process. The moving team was on time, very pleasant, and extremely efficient. I highly recommend Charming Movers!!!

Charming Movers moved us last week from Annapolis to Charlottesville, VA. I cannot say enough good about them! Great work, great team, great great value! Part 1. This was the ONLY company that actually comes to your home to see what you have, in order to give a good estimate. They called the day before to confirm and arrived promptly at 9:30. Very well oiled machine. They worked together in unison. Communicated throughout the process. Yes, some supplies were additional, but you have to figure that into the cost. A list of additional packing supplies is listed in your contract/estimate. I would think that would be up to you to figure how much will be used. I had no surprises. Movers were personable and professional. One actually started to vacuum

This is a woman owned family business. She takes great pride in her company’s work and in her employees.We moved from the DC area to Delaware. It was a two day move and everything went beautifully. During the move a glass table broke probably from the movement of the truck. They were very honest and took care of it for us. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Charming Movers was fantastic! The crew worked quickly, efficiently and with care. I've never seen such an ambitious, hardworking and cheerful team. I don't know how they made moving fun but they did! I've moved a lot and this company was the best I've ever seen, will definitely use again.

This company has to be AVOIDED at all costs.
They promised my wife that time charges exclude movers travel time to and fro to location of performance and that all packaging material was included (it even says that on their website) and gave her an estimate.
In the morning I signed papers they gave in good faith assuming they reflect the agreement… without reading them as you can imagine what a single family move day looks like.
In the end they billed us movers travel time and for material and when my wife questioned them she was told that your husband signed papers this morning agreeing

If you’re looking for a moving company, search no more! Charming movers was excellent from the moment we called. They answered all of our questions, their contracts were thoroughly understood- no hidden fees! Their communication was transparent from day one . They are properly insured . The guys wore masks at all times and were friendly and professional. Gotta love supporting a family operated business who is delivering excellence services. Charming Movers did a local move and item removal for us. It was flawless. Compared to the larger companies, this small, woman-owned business was very cost-effective and professional. Her movers were polite and careful with our items and our home. Nothing was broken or missing. Will definitely use them again!

This company does everything they say the are not about: hidden charges: $850 in additional supply charges just for wrapping furniture?; unreliable: they forgot a crate of my stuff and tried to charge me 3 hrs of labor for leaving the move in and going to Baltimore to get it; bad customer service: Cheri the owner argues and patronizes you on the phone when you are just trying to understand the hidden charges. So much for thinking a woman owned business would be more trustworthy!! Oh and then how could I forget the photo of their well "vetted" movers who steal from your already packed

The video on their website starts with "have you ever experienced a nightmare move?" Yes: Charming Movers was a nightmare. We had a written agreement by Charming Movers and was contacted by Cheri 9:30pm the night before we were supposed to move saying their truck was stuck down in Florida. We were to move 8:00am the next morning and settle on a sale of the house. We were desperate. As a general rule for all movers, get an in-person estimate and it should be free. Charming did this and it was easy. I enjoyed the movers who came both to move me out and then two weeks later came to move me in. I had a crew of four guys both days, two guys were present for both the move out and the move in which added a nice consistency to the move. None of my belongings were broken or damaged in the move (I packed my own boxes so I feel like I deserve some credit for this hah!).

A couple of weeks ago I read a not so pleasant review for Charming Movers inc. I know there are 2 sides to every story, misunderstandings arise and sometimes we humans make mistakes. I can honestly say when I had a friend in need of their services, this moving company was at the ready to get my friend, who recently lost her husband, and her 2 small boys moved out of a house they were being evicted from. Grieving single mother with 2 kids who didn't have the full price to pay for the move. The owner provided her services for much less because she understood the family's plight and

I hired Charming Movers Inc for a move years ago and am just now getting around to writing a review. My estimate almost doubled and there was damage to the house (holes in the wall) and to my furniture. The claim process was a pain and Cheri was very unpleasant at the end of the process. The movers moving my furniture/boxes were hard working, so I think the issue had more to do with a poor estimate and the company not sending enough movers to handle the job. Other companies that I have used have sent 4+ movers where as this company only sent 2 movers.

I've had more than my share of horrible moving experiences with incompetent, dishonest companies - including Bekins and United franchises. Today I used Charming Movers for the second time, getting my mother-in-law into her new retirement condo in Arlington. I rarely write reviews but when a moving company "delivers" with such professionalism, courtesy, timeliness, care, and integrity then it deserves the praise. In the DC area this is the go-to moving company!!!
