Chris's Marine is a full service marine shop located in Aransas Pass, Texas. We service the entire middle coastal bend area and offer a vast array of new and used boats for sale. We supply, maintain and repair all Mercury marine engines. We also repair any other commercial or recreational manufacturers engines, including Evinrude, Yamaha and Honda.

We supply, maintain and repair all Mercury marine engines.

We stock a wide range of Mercury marine engines including new and reconditioned engines, parts, oils, lubrications and accessories to suit every water craft. If you don't see it on our shelves or in our inventory we can probably get it for you or will know someone who has what you need.
Many know the story behind the relationship I have with Chris and Julie Coulter, the owners of Chris's Marine and Haynie Boats. For those that don't, here's a quick refresher. Julie's dad, Gene, along with Johnny and Kathy Majek, were my very first real sponsors in this business. It was over 30 years ago that the team I am a member of today starting taking form.

My boat broke down on Saturday a week and half ago and I called Chris’s Marine since I was close by and even though they specialize in Mercury motors and I have a Yamaha was told to drop it off at the drop off area. Got a call that Monday morning from Max and after discussing what was going on was told it might be a few weeks as they are so busy, as is everyone else. I was good with 3-4 weeks and to my surprise 1.5 weeks after being dropped off find out the boat is ready. New complete fuel line, water pump rebuild and lower unit service all done and actually was shocked on the price on the good

Waste of money. Took my boat there on the suggestion of several people because I was having trouble with the motor--it had power but no spark. $125 diagnosis later I was told it was either the flywheel or the regulator. The flywheel was 3 years old and the regulator was brand new. Replaced both and still no spark. Literally everything else on there I had already replaced with no luck before going to them. Was hoping their "experts" could help. I don't think they even bothered looking at it. Complete waste of time and money.

I will not be returning to these guys! I took my boat in with issues they said it was fixed so I picked it up and put it in the water had the same issues! Took it back again same thing picked it up and put it in the water check engine and alarm on! Over a thousand dollars in labor/parts and 4 weeks and my boat still is not right! It’s hard to believe so many reviews have had good service here! The only thing good was that they got to the boat fairly quickly, but that doesn’t matter when it is not getting fixed! ***I took the boat in with all intentions of your team communicating issues with

Max the service manger is awesome. This shop is busy and they'll tell you if they are backed up. But they are really good at sticking to the time frame they tell you and the communication is good. I haven't had any issues with the repairs they have made and while fixing boats isn't cheap i feel like i've always been charged reasonably

Max and the service crew did a great job getting me in line, and getting my boat repaired for a bad coil in the middle of a crazy summer schedule for them. They went the extra mile in making sure I was seen as soon as they could fit me in, fixed it at minimal hassle for me, and got me back and running. Thanks!
