Best Cremation Care is a licensed funeral establishment in Northern California (San Francisco Bay area) and Southern California (greater Los Angeles area). We have a team of trained arrangement counselors that are dedicated to assisting families who are wanting a basic, affordable cremation service so that they can coordinate their own memorial, or have their loved one sent to another part of the country (or internationally).
Best Cremation Care is ready to assist you to preplan your cremation and memorial. Our final expense policies cover end-of-life expenses including cremation, urn, facility rental for memorials and other related costs. Some people procrastinate when it comes to making end-of-life plans, or they totally avoid it all together.
There are many types of body donation. It can be an excellent choice for those wanting to leave a medical legacy and help with research. For some, another big advantage is, depending on what type of donation you choose, it can result in a free cremation for the family. One of the options is whole body donation.

While other funeral homes were overwhelmed, and not responding to my online inquiries, as well as not giving a return call back, during COVID era, I had to resort to this establishment. We were unable to give my father in law a proper funeral. This was affordable, the funeral director was communicative, and makes the process as easy as possible during such a hard time. Thank you for such a smooth and empathetic process.

I was having a very difficult time handling my grandmother's affairs after she passed. My fiancé, my aunt and I went through a lot ( losing a loved one is never easy, but right now there are so many complications due to COVID everything was very drawn out and confusing) trying to settle everything. The first mortuary we reached out to made things sound easy, but then when I got the money together for them they put us through a week and a half game of phone tag between their apparently very busy office where no one ever seemed to have our information even though we gave it to them repeatedly

WENT HOME WITH THE WRONG REMAINS!!!
Signed up online and immediately was helped by Brenda. Excellent customer service and walked me through the process. No problem on this end.
The day to our Memorial was drawing near so I called and talked to Tiffany who then informed me that my Father In Law was ready. This was on a Friday and had I not called his remains would not have been at the Memorial on Saturday. First problem.
I was told to bring ID because they will not release the remains unless they know who you are. I was happy to hear this because it shows a good level of competency and professionalism

EXTREME WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! It may be cheap but you pay another price! Incompetence prevails here! Talked with several people no one knew what the other said. Only in the office Mondays? Sent papers by email to sign and every time we tried to send them back/ no matter which person sent them, the email said "MESSAGE FAILURE"! Also did not answer phone often so it was impossible to reach them. They made several errors in paper work and when they went to pick up the body they were unable to because paperwork was incorrect! It took 3 weeks for them to just pick up the body.

David was so helpful with processing my Mother. I would call with anxious questions, as this was my first time with this experience, and he would answer them, no problem. My experience with Best Cremation Care has been absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. I had never heard about them before my dad passed away. When he died, we hadn't chosen a mortuary yet, so we started calling around. The two best known places near us were $2000 and $2200. I wasn't sure if that was expensive or not, but didn't really know what else to do to check prices. There are no words to relate how much help and comfort this company brought my family when my only brother died in our home this month, after an eight month battle with cancer.
From the first contact with David to the gentlemen that came to our home to pick up my brother's body - they were compassionate, kind, gentle extremely professional.

David, Derek and Tiffany are amazing. My mother passed in November, we knew she was terminal but didn't know if she would pass in a month or a year. Funds were tight for any arrangements when she passed away, and being her only child the stress to carry out her final wishes were immense. Worked with David Finch. This process is never EZ. BCC made this a breeze for us. Their process and steps not only made it affordable but everything was conducted with the utmost professionalism and respect. This is never an easy topic to write about, but I feel it very necessary to write a review. My son recently died, suddenly and unexpectedly. To compound the pain of our loss, we had several, very unusual, complications in getting his autopsy completed, (not Best Cremation Care's fault). During the long battle with Coroners office (3 weeks) David and Brenda went above and beyond the call of duty, not only to comfort us, but to also help make certain things were done appropriately. While its rare and hard to write about - I absolutely had to take the time to write about my experience. My fathers death was unexpected, I was positioned to be responsible and coordinate his afterlife. I couldn't be more impressed with the team @ BCC. Unfamiliar with all of this while experiencing emotions of loss, David and Brenda came to my aid and assisted my family and I through unexpected challenges. My sister recently passed away and not living in the area I needed to make arrangements on the internet. Boy, did I get lucky! David and Tiffany were excellent in helping me navigate through getting things completed in an efficient and respectful way. No question went unanswered and as I called to make the arrangements David could not have been more helpful. As a follow up, Tiffany helped with the paperwork and any "other" questions I had.
