Services
Most routine eye exams are actually complex comprehensive medical visits. A routine eye exam only updates glasses and screens for un-diagnosed diseases. The examination, diagnosis, and treatment of eye conditions is not covered by vision plans, but is covered with your major medical plan under a specialist copay or deductible.
If you have any symptoms of a medical problem such as scratchy eyes, itchy eyes, swelling, crust, flashes, or floaters, we recommend seeing us for an urgent care visit for evaluation and treatment. City of Vision Eye Care can perform in office treatments for viral infections, removal of foreign objects, or prescribe antibiotics as needed.
During allergy season, sinuses can swell causing you to have headaches, sniffling, sneezing, runny noses. Additionally, some people can have allergies of the eyes as well. Symptoms can include red, irritated eyes, itchiness, tearing, swelling, soreness, pain, grittiness, and feeling like something is in your eyes.

I received my glasses and since I wore glasses prior, I just picked up. The prescription should for for near and far, but I could see better close up with no glasses. Immediately I called to explain and had to make an appointment to have them check the glasses. Due to Christmas, it was a few days which was expected. However upon arriving at the office, the glasses fitting side could not see anything wrong with the glasses and I needed to make another appointment to see a doctor to verify the prescription was right. Why couldn’t I have been taken care of in the same visit? The next available appointment

First time visit. What a great experience! Dr. Ho was so informative about the procedures and tests that were done. I would definitely recommend going to City of Vision.
Also, the eye glass ate was just as great. Everything was explained about costs and insurance coverage.
I will definitely use them again.

I have been going to City of Vision for over 20 years - they are very professional, always have the latest technology (pretty remarkable) and their office environment is always welcoming. They have taken very good care of my eyes over the years. Their COVID-19 protocols are among the best I have seen, so I felt perfectly safe in their hands. Just went again the other day - same great service - new optometrist this year but just as talented and caring!

Horrible and rude! They will try to scam you out of money! They care more about forcing you to pay for services you "need" than anything. Then when you dont agree to their upsells they try to belittle and talk down to you. I'd rather go blind then ever come here again! The level of arrogance in this place is appalling! Not to mention they do not follow COVID protocols!

I get extreme anxiety when doing anything new or going anywhere new. I had my first visit recently and the staff at the front desk, Dr. Ho and the the techs were all courteous, informative and professional and I felt comfortable after the initial anxiety. I was given 2 different types of contact lenses to try to see which I liked better. I've never been given options before and I'm glad I was because one brand just isn't working for me. I also appreciated that they don't just flaunt their Covid safety precautions everywhere but they actually follow them.
