BLINK, formerly Downtown Vision Source, started in a small building off of Lomas Boulevard and has grown quite a bit since. Dr. Irons grew her practice from a two exam room facility to the new amazing office at 201 Slate Ave. Dr. Irons has hand picked an amazing staff to support her as they strive to provide the best vision care possible to the people of New Mexico.

I love love Dr. Irons and her office staff. They are true professionals, providing the best care for me and my family. We have tried a few OD offices throughout the years and Blink has hands down provided the best service. Also- they have tasteful eye ware which my family and I have found difficult to find in Albuquerque.

Dr. Irons is well equipped and seems to be thorough in exams. I like her. But soon after I picked up my new and adjusted glasses, I needed adjustments again. I went there again twice within a very short time.
I think the problem was that I put my new glasses into the case they had given me, and I didn’t realize that they didn’t fit very well into the case so the frames bent a bit at the temples.

Dr Irons is the most conscientious, thorough, dedicated eye specialist (maybe even of all doctors!) I have been with. She is so personable; always remembers a patient and the history and details of one's care. I had cataract surgery elsewhere, experienced endless problems the firm could not resolve (charging me for every step of their failed efforts) and finally broke down and called Dr Irons. Why hadn't I done this immediately!? She stepped right in and resolved the months-long problem (and, btw, did not even charge for her time! only the lens she ordered for me). I have read a few reviews this morning and today is my first appointment; already I am feeling good about meeting with Doctor Irons and her staff for a full eye exam for prescription glasses. For now that's all I can say about that after reviewing posts about Blink OD's shop and after I complete with my appointment and once I receive my prescription glasses, I will revisit and add on to my review. My optimism so far is that everything will work out just fine. On that note, I'll be seeing you soon Blink Eye, to wink at you for a job well done! 👀

DR Irons is probably the friendliest and most kind DR ever. She takes her time and always makes you feel welcomed. Her office does not take my insurance anymore, but I still go and choose to pay out of pocket because of how amazing she is. I have recommended her office to lots of family and friends. Make an appointment with her, you won't be disappointed.

I am not one to review any where, but Dr. Iron is the best. I really don't mind going to see this doctor. The staff is always so nice and knowledgeable. They work with your insurance and make sure you can get the glasses you want with the least out of pocket expense. Thank you Dr. Iron and staff. Keep up the great work.
I went in yesterday 3/11/20 to pick up my new glasses and the were great again. And my glasses come in fast, they were ready last week !!

My visit to Blink was a welcome melding of old school eye doctor and cutting edge technology. What do I mean by that? Simply put, the emphasis at Blink is on eye health and patient care, and less on selling you a pair of glasses. The exam was thorough, involving multiple painless tests that explored all aspects of optics - retinal health, glaucoma testing, vision, and more.
