It all started in the South Shore of Long Island when we opened up our first restaurant, Lucky Boy in the five towns. Lucky Boy Restaurant has served the community for over 30 years. In between those years, we decided to add an addition in The Catskills called Yiasou Cafe. We have served the Sullivan County community and surrounding areas for over 15 years.
Our warm and welcoming dining room offers the cozy environment of a friend's home, while our kitchen caters to your every craving. From authentic Greek/Mediterranean cuisine to American classics and everything in between, we will provide you with a warm atmosphere and some of the best food you have ever had.

I went there before covid and it was decent. Went back recently and their prices didn't match the quality of the food. I had a stuffed eggplant dish that was mushy and the sauce tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes were poured on it. I paid $17 for this and it was a major waste. Lunch specials in this neck of the woods would be a good idea. I was the only one in the restaurant during the lunch hour. So disappointing.

Looked pretty and service was good BUT the food was not great, the platter of dips, none were great and they all had a word consistency, the tomatosalata looked pre- made and the feta was tasteless, the octopus was just not worth the cost. Everything is over priced and they charged a random fee to use a credit card which I had them remove. I'll never go again.

Yiasou cafe is discriminating against people with medical conditions that are unable to wear a face mask... even when they are wearing a perfectly legal face shield.
Went to Yiasou with a perfectly legal face shield covering my entire face and was made to feel very unwelcome. We were seated outdoors, which was great... before even ordering I was informed that I would not be allowed to use the restrooms with the face shield I was wearing. I told her not to worry that I wouldn't use their restrooms. She said some other things and I asked her to just drop it because I already said I wouldn

Amazing! Such a great little Greek restaurant! We were in town for business and rushed to the restaurant, making it there about 7:10 (they close at 8) thinking they would be starting to close up, but they were super busy. Chose a table (out of the two that were available) and ordered a beer from the chalk board. They had a decent selection, not huge but wide ranging. Next a very nice older gentleman brought homemade bread with amazing soft butter, Soo fresh and tasty! (highly recommended to have some with your salad. I decided to ordered the chicken Slovaki with a Greek salad and it was a feast

Went here last night on a blind date. Perfect atmosphere. Not intimate but pretty loud. I had the gyro special which is basically a deconstructed gyro on a plate with a salad on the side. Very good. Too much food but whoever complains about that? I will say that the lamb meat on the skewer was not very good and extremely pink on the inside and tough to chew which tells me it wasn't cooked correctly so I didn't eat any more than a bite of it everything else was delicious. My date got the sausage and pasta special. He said it was good. We were more interested in really getting to know one

The place was packed. On a small town that's a good sign. The hot bread with garlic sauce and butter was the first tip the food was special. The Greek salad was fresh. The spinach pie was delicious and the gyro the best ever. Great service. I'm coming back before I leave the area. Oh yeah the owner said the way the beef and lamb are combined to do the gyro is using toasted soy grits from Tennessee

You drive too fast and you're gonna miss this place. Tucked away in a small strip mall. On the road between nowhere and I-don't-know-where, is this little gem. It's owned and run by really warm friendly Greek people. (What's Mediterranean people doing in an icy place like this ?) The room is cozy old fashioned. Kinda like someone's private dining room. And the staff could not be sweeter. The food I ordered was very yummy. And fresh. And the dessert was to die for. But the place lost a star for me because it's way more expensive than you'd think it would be
