The caf is open on the weekends only, from Mother's Day through Columbus Day serving Saturday and Sunday Brunch (11-3), and Spanish Tapas on Saturday nights (5-9).
Wine and beer are available. The Caf is closed during weekdays and the winter months (November through April). Samba Marketplace has a wide selection of farmhouse gifts, books, ceramics, lamps, and housewares. There is also great coffee, juices, espresso, cappuccino, latte, pastries, baked goods, snacks and gourmet foods.

Quaint hole in the wall that's been here for 19 years. Run by a husband-wife team. He works in front and provides attentive, chatty service; she runs the kitchen. Funky decor, with interesting antiques on display.
They offer a range of items, mostly Brazilian or Brazilian-influenced, some Latin American. Quality was pretty variable. Starting with the best, they had two soups, both very good. A pork-and grits soup was flavorful and balanced with bits of roast pork and pimento in a savory corn porridge. A tomato-lime-coconut soup was bright and nicely acidic.
The empanadas are baked, no fried

What a great spot in eclectic Jeffersonville. Inn is well kept and themed decorated which I adored. Restaurant has bright brazilian decor with family feel. Jazz played in the background. Food is fresh and so delicious. Eat as brazilians do here. Andrea and Tim are amazing and make you feel like your visiting family. This is a keeper.

Food here is incredible!
Ordered the French toast with berry salad, and the breakfast sandwich with salad. We were blown away! Fresh made whipped cream, huge mountain of berries, sausage and bacon on the breakfast sandwich, and a great olive oil/mustard vinagrette dressing over a simple salad.
Very friendly owners, warm and inviting setting with an old-time living room parlor vibe. I didn't try the pastries, but those looked great too!
Open only for brunch on the weekends - don't miss it!

I love this place. I've come here a lot over the years, every time I'm in town, mostly for brunch, which is always very tasty. The frittata is delicious, as is the salad. Although rice and beans sounds boring to some people, Samba's is definitely worth your while. Don't forget to order the fried yucca. It's so good. The atmosphere in this place is relaxed, and the owners are very friendly and personable. The place feels bright and welcoming with its '50s tables and chairs and other cool mid-century furniture and appliances.

I am sad to say that this was probably the worst brazilian food I've had. I was so disappointed by the lack of familiar flavors and tastiness that I have come to associate with Brazilian food and the menu was extremely limited. The staff are friendly and the place is clean but I don't think I would return. They do sell some brazilian soda and snack items that you can take away.

My husband and I spent the weekend in Jeffersonville to get away from the city and find some peace and quiet. We went out to eat three times, two of those times at Samba. After we stopped in for breakfast, we decided to come back in for dinner that same night. The husband and wife duo did a great job with decor, food and hospitality. We loved it all!
If you're ever visiting Jeffersonville (or live there!), I highly recommend Samba!

Really cute little place that makes use of every bit of the space it has to offer. Books line the shelves of one wall, and 60s/70s style dining room tables and chairs fill the floor area. Antiques and old style refrigerators add a fun ambience to the room- I especially liked the pink fridge where the drinks are kept icy cold. The staff were very nice, and the food was delectable- a great place to stop for lunch while you are passing through the area. I had a chicken salad sandwich-one of the best I have ever had. They also offered a variety of beverages (hot and cold) and tasty looking desserts

I grew up in a town with not a lot in it. We didn't even have a stop light. But over the past few years, things have changed in Jeffersonville. I barely recognize Main Street anymore. The latest business to open it's doors is Samba, a Brazilian juice bar. I have to tell you, this place is effing beautiful. The floors are some kind of dark wood. I don't want to make some old Indian dude cry or anything, but for all I know, they came from big dank trees felled cruelly by cold-hearted mercenaries in the heart of the Amazon. There's a huge flat screen TV in there, too, with a red
