Dr. Brooklin Byrd is a Memphis native. She received her Bachelor's Degree in general biology from Union University in Jackson, TN, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.
While at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Byrd served as treasurer for her class, and received awards for student research, community service, and clinical skills. Dr. Byrd maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Richard Doggett Dean and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

I had a great experience with Dr. Byrd. I went to her after a previous dentist “fixed” and removed a filling twice, leaving it still sensitive to temperature change. Dr. Byrd did a fantastic job explaining what she was doing before doing it, as well as giving all of the options to fix the tooth in a way I could understand it. She also offered to reach out to my orthodontist (I have a very complicated jaw) to make sure everyone is on the same page. I left her office thinking my teeth have never felt cleaner. I am no longer looking for a new dentist, Dr. Byrd has my business.

This particular visit was amazing. I’ve honestly never left a dentist appointment so relaxed. I came in for my regular cleaning and they found a spot on one of my back teeth that required a filling - not a cavity, but the same filling process. I asked if they could go ahead and do that filling today as well as a fluoride coating treatment. They were nice enough to knock BOTH out for me. The procedures were so well done and everything went smoothly. Dr. Byrd answered all of my questions and everyone was so friendly. Highly, highly recommend giving this place a try for that next 6 month cleaning

My first visit to Dr. Byrd exceeded my expectations. From the lovely office to the great front desk and care staff, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hygenist is outstanding - I don’t remember the last time my teeth looked so good after a cleaning. Dr. Byrd is very genuine, personable, thorough, and communicative. She inspires confidence and trust. I actually enjoyed my visit to the dentist!

My father had been my dentist since I Came into this world...he used to sing to me as a toddler as he brushed my teeth...”you brush your teeth 🎶ch-cha-ch-cha-cha🎵“ and he became certified in orthodontics when I was a pre-teen so that he would be able to put braces on his 3 children. He has blessed me with a smile I love to laugh with. He was the most gentle, painless dentist and when he retired in December I wasn’t sure if anyone could do what he did..he’s my dad! Brooklin Byrd bought his practice and his amazing staff came with it. Brooklin is AMAZING, gentle, and her warm kindred
