Our foundress, Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Patron Saint of Immigrants, committed her life to the dignity, development, and empowerment of God's people, especially those who are marginalized. Cabrini High School was founded to uphold this legacy and to provide an Education of the Mind and the Heart-an education that empowers people to change society for the better.
Inspired by the grace of God and the call of Mother Cabrini, we, the Cabrinian educators embrace our vocation of educating the minds and hearts of our students. Called to lead by example, we become part of the worldwide family of Cabrinian "co-workers in the vineyard of the Lord." Honoring the historical roots and cultural traditions of Mother Cabrini and her institutions.
The Sacred Heart Chapel, built in 1905 by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, currently serves as a place of worship in the heart of Cabrini High School's campus. Located in the historic Bayou St. John neighborhood just steps from City Park, the Chapel once served as a place of worship for the original Sacred Heart Orphan Asylum, but now serves as a chapel for Cabrini High School student masses, prayer services, and retreats.

In my opinion cabrini was trash had horrible teachers and the school had a horrible smell. I'm so glad I left honestly has been a weight lifted off my shoulders. The girls were all in clicks and bratty also ms. Conwell(the dean of students) was a miserable person also the office lady's were extremely rude to parents. They interrogated me when I was leaving to transfer to my new school with some rude person questions. If you send your child here good luck.
