I practice integrative psychotherapy with a warm, engaged and non-judgmental stance. My approach integrates elements of evidence-based therapies including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Psychodynamic and Narrative Therapy.
With trust and respect, we will work together to understand the meaning of the experiences that are causing you frustration and pain. I will help you explore places in your life where you feel stuck- recurrent patterns, limiting beliefs, painful choices - to understand why they no longer work for you and to help you to make positive changes.

Services
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#90728) practicing in the Hayes Valley area of San Francisco, California. I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute for Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco where my training focused on integrative psychotherapy - combining spiritual inquiry with psychological healing and growth.
I provide face-to-face and remote video-based therapy to individuals, couples and families. I specialize in helping clients suffering from depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor body image or clients struggling with relationship or intimacy issues.
I particularly enjoy working with young women in their late teens, 20s, 30s, that need support adjusting to stressful life transitions - new school, jobs, relationships, recent relocations - and have had extensive experience working with teens, young adults and their families. Before starting therapy and embarking on the path of inquiry, it's very important that you find a therapist who is a good fit for you.

My fee is $160/session for individuals and $180/session for couples and families. I do not believe that finances should be what limit someone from seeking support through therapy; therefore I do often accept clients on a sliding scale basis, and encourage you to contact me about whether or not might be possible.

I had the wonderful privilege of working alongside Erin for two years. She displays incredible integrity, insight, and natural talent as a therapist. I was consistently inspired to improve my own practice and learned a lot through our conversations. I consider Erin to be one of the best clinicians in the field and happily refer clients to her regularly.

Erin changed my life.
I had been suffering from depression for 2-3 years and stubbornly / pridefully thought that I had already been to therapists before, they might say some nice things, but I am too far gone this time. Normally, I'm able to self-reflect and 'work my way' out of certain moods or slumps, but when I finally realized that my husband and I were staying in San Francisco for good (in the place that was very much at the root of a lot of fears, insecurities
