When a young man enters Jesuit High School Sacramento, he becomes part of a global community. Within the United States alone there are 54 Jesuit high schools and 28 Jesuit colleges and universities with a goal to educate leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion - Men for Others - who strive to build a better world.
From the very beginning, Jesuit works to make sure new students feel comfortable and become involved. Freshmen counselors meet individually with students to determine how best to make their transition to Jesuit as easy as possible. In addition, all Freshmen have a Senior Big Brother who helps guide and mentors their Little Brothers.

Jesuit demands a lot from you; the more ambitious you are, the more challenging. Very few high schools in the country create a community that understands the power of networking like Jesuit High i.e. JHS Career Day every spring is a phenomenal event for students to network with alum like myself. My teachers at Jesuit have always been supportive and helped me learn, even when I'm absent for tournaments abroad.
Help students establish meaningful post-secondary goals and connect those goals with their coursework and college planning activities. Here are some common letters of recommendation questions that we get from students during the college application cycle. This is the same information that we communicated to students and parents in our college information nights, college advising meetings, and during collaboration periods.
When you graduate from Jesuit High School Sacramento you enter the Brotherhood of alumni that includes 10,947 alumni that are now spanning across the globe. It was great to see so many Marauders back on campus in September. Your J-high home is open for your to visit anytime - not just reunion weekend, so we hope to see you back here soon!
Please refer frequently to the online calendar on the Jesuit High School website for the most up-to-date information on upcoming events and the daily bell schedule. Unless absolutely necessary, we ask that parents not pick up students until 3:00pm to promote the use of this time. Students may choose from a variety of academic supports, co-curricular activities, and wellness offerings.

I am a freshman at Jesuit and my experience has been terrible, a majority of the students are snotty rich kids, and I got bullied my first day there. Education is nothing special, maybe just above average. Except for the fact that they pound you with valueless homework, I have had several days where I've sat at my desk at home crying because of the amount of stress. I have almost never have had a good day, and every day I contemplate quitting. The only thing holding me back is the absolutely ridiculous amount of money my parents are spending. And where does that money go? I have no clue! Most of

Jesuit education has been proven into delevoping young individuals Faith, Academic and Social Responsibilty. My son's potentials are maximized to the fullest, and motivated to always strive for the best. It challenges him to improving himself and creating the best of him in facing the greater challenges in life. As a Junior student, he has never been prepared to go to any bigger university where he will have at least 8 APs when he graduates in highschool.

STUDENT EXPERIENCE: Let me be clear form the beginning: this is ONLY about the experience my son had here - it is not about the parental experience. My son went here and graduated in 2005 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The staff were always available and the priests gave my son a wonderful intellectual experience.
PARENTAL EXPERIENCE: Not Awful but close. There are an exceptionally large number of well off families who send their sons here and the parent and school support efforts are much like a close club. I would not call them snobby, but rather just a closed club

AMAZING school! I am not quite sure where the negative reviews have come from in addition to there being an accusation of snobbery; from my experience, this is simply NOT the case at all. Jesuit has embraced my son with open arms. I am a single mother on a limited income and he is on financial aid, a large sum, to be quite honest. He has been struggling with the adjustment his Freshman year and frankly has been a pain in the rear; however, the school counselor, teachers and staff have been extremely supportive. They have stayed in constant contact with him, held him accountable and worked with
