Take a walk on the Christian Brothers High School campus and the feeling of community among the students, teachers and staff is palpable. In its 142 years in Sacramento, this venerable high school has changed its location three times and been known by six different names. What remains unchanged is the inimitable spirit-the Lasallian spirit and tradition of teaching and caring for young people in a community steadfastly dedicated to the intellectual growth and spiritual well-being of its students.

CB's Lasallian mission calls for innovation in ensuring that students are prepared to take their place as ethical leaders in an interdependent, diverse and rapidly changing world. Technology has become an indispensable part of who we are as a society. The use of technology enhances community by fostering communication among faculty, parents, students, and staff.
Arrive on campus and you are sure to sense the warm and welcoming feeling ever-present among the faculty, staff and students. At the heart of this is the venerated tradition of our Founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle, and his core belief that teachers are ministers of Jesus Christ whose sacred calling is to touch the hearts and minds of the students entrusted to their care.
A Christian Brothers education is an investment in your child's future, a choice that requires careful financial planning and sacrifice for many families. We are committed to making a Christian Brothers education affordable and accessible. To the extent that our funds permit, tuition assistance is available to all admitted students who qualify.
Christian Brothers High School's Lasallian Catholic mission and Lasallian Core Principles emphasize diversity and inclusion as essential. It is vital that our school community continue learning, celebrating and challenging our perceptions, and developing empathy as we commit to a better understanding of the importance that diversity contributes to our world.

In the past I would have given a 5 star for this school but currently I wish there were a zero option. The staff and culture of this school, the core of the community, are phenomenal. As of this moment, I'm really pondering why the turnover rate has suddenly picked up and there have been so many seasoned employees leaving abruptly. Hoping the board takes notice soon and steps in before things get too bad.

Best private high school in Sacramento! Their motto "Enter to learn, leave to serve" stands true. I have watched my son transform into a responsible, caring, and responsible young man with the support and guidance from his teachers and the CB staff. It truly is THE PLACE TO BE! Small and positive experience

I couldn't be happier with the experience my daughter is having at CB. She is a freshman in the scholars program and has really blossomed academically and spiritually. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and set very high standards. In addition, the students and families are inclusive and kind to each other. Football games have become a favorite pastime for us, as the team is outstanding (as is the cheer squad that my daughter has become a part of). Though the neighborhood can be a deterrent, give this school a chance. There is a mutual respect between the school and community

Went to a couple games here for kids soccer. It's close to my work and I wonder, what the heck is this nice prestigious looking school doing in a place like this. Honestly, it's in the middle of an old beat up neighborhood with homeless people walking all around. It kind of odd really. OK, the field was great. Nice grass and stands for spectators. Very nice.

Rey Jaraba the answer to your question is we are in this neighborhood to change it. By cleaning up Oak park on the weekends, help feed the homeless. Our moto is " Enter to learn, leave to serve" that is why we are in the place we are. Next time instead of disrespecting our community, researche things. 😋

Best Catholic High School in Sacramento!!
It truly is a "Enter to Learn and Leave to Serve"....
The students get a well rounded education, academically to prepare them for college...a true college prep high school. It is also a great environment for the students to interact and create a special bond with each other and their teachers that will last forever......
Tuition is not cheap but we personally made sacrifices in our personal life to ensure that our children had the very best environment for their education.
Some stuck up people from those other schools say that CB is not in
