I am a wedding photographer who lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, but I have also photographed weddings in Charlotte and Asheville, North Carolina; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and all over the Southwestern Virginia area including Richmond, Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Galax, and Floyd. I found Holly's website searching for a Blacksburg photographer to take pictures for our 15th anniversary on Tech's campus. I liked her natural style and how she emphasized capturing your true selves. She was easy to communicate with via e-mail and talk to in person, she even put us in her car and drove us to various spots around campus! She was very creative with photographing at different angles and capturing the architecture of the campus buildings! She made it fun not awkward, and even made a cool gif of my girls! She perfectly captured my family on the campus that means so much to us!

If you're in need of a photographer, look no further! I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Holly twice over the past year and a half - once for a couple's shoot with my fiance and once for a boudoir session - and I could not be more happy with the results. Holly was amazing! Sounds cliche, I know, but she was so much more than a fabulous photographer! From day one, she worked with me as we bounced ideas back and forth for photo options and even wedding decor ideas! She was open to many ideas and her personality made me feel I had an ally in the entire planning process! Weddings can be stressful, and hiring Holly took the edge off. When we began our search for a wedding photographer, we knew we wanted our wedding photos to be more natural than posed. Holly was amazing to work with. She was there every step of the way. She helped with picking out outfits for engagement pictures, helped us find a terrific florist, and she even took some graduation shots for us. Holly is a wonderful photographer especially for weddings. She captures a variety of shots: spontaneous ones that really bring out your personality and also those classic ones that you just have to have for weddings. She was always very quick with her communications and really worked with me and any questions I had (being a out of town bride, this was great). Also Holly's editing time is very reasonable and you will end up with great quality photos to boot. And a really big plus, she has a very comfortable relaxed personality that helps if you are nervous in front of the camera.

When Kelly and I began planning our wedding we knew it was going to be hard to find a photographer that understood what we wanted. Holly not only understood what we wanted but went out of her way to meet with us before hand to see our venue. She was referred to us from another photographer that didn't have a date open and it was just meant to be. Her style of photography and personality fit us perfectly!
