Augmentation mammaplasty (breast augmentation) is performed to increase or enhance breast size and/or correct breast asymmetry whether it is from congenital asymmetry or breast cancer treatment. Many factors can affect breast size including pregnancy, changes in body weight, or age. Breast may also be underdeveloped, disproportionate to your body or different sizes.
Women may choose to have breast implant revision surgery following their original breast augmentation procedure for various reasons. In most cases this involves removal of the existing implant usually with replacement with new implants. There may be device issues such as leakage, deflation or rupture.
Not all patients decide to undergo a mastectomy. For many patients a lumpectomy may be an option for treatment of your breast cancer. This is a discussion that usually takes between patients and their breast cancer surgeon (general surgeon). In certain patients an oncoplastic reconstruction may be an option.

I originally was going to go to a plastic surgeon in Utah, who talked me into doing implants and a lift at the same time. ( I have needed a lift even before kids) so the implant would have been just to make them look more perky.. a week before I had a bad feeling about it so I cancelled.. that being said I have seen a few different surgeons and dr. Jarrell was the only one who suggested doing a lift first, then waiting to see if I still wanted implants. Leading up to the surgery I felt zero nerves and felt comfortable and confident with my decision. I got my lift a few days ago and I am still blown

Dr. Jarrell and his team are absolutely amazing. I was referred to him by a close friend and I have never been so grateful. I was working with a small time frame to get 3 procedures done, otoplasty, abdominoplasty, and mastopexy. They worked with my schedule and made all my procedures happen. This doctor and his staff are a scam and a fake. I went in to meet with him he did not seem as though he wanted to do the surgery for me but still assured me he would submit the insurance request since I was experiencing a medical issue and had been for a few years. It took everything in me to even get to the point to meet with him and when I called his office and spoke with Sam 3 months after my visit to check on scheduling, she said that the request had not returned from the insurance. Dr. Jarrell and all of his staff have been very kind and accommodating to me and my situation. I had a limited time frame where I could get my surgery done and they went out of their way trying to find a time that worked for me. I got a breast reduction and I am very pleased with the results. The incision lines are clean and the size and outcome are better than I could have hoped for. I have recovered well and am grateful for all of the positive and considerate help I have gotten.

Dr. John Jarrell is AMAZING. He is a highly knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. I had silicone breast implants removed after 43 years. I was quite nervous about the procedure until I met with Dr. Jarrell. I am thankful to have found a surgeon who is capable of complete removal of implants encapsulated in scar tissue and any residual damage. I am still in the recovery stage and my results are already better than I expected. I was relieved to find I have more breast tissue than anticipated and nicely shaped small breasts.
