I loved the heated pool ! The pool staff was friendly. Sabrina the head manager was great with my son offering him a popsicle when he got stickers on his foot. Room was clean. Carpet needs to be changed. I loved how close the beach was to the hotel. Good food in driving distance. Needs to be completely renovated so it doesn't look run down. Pricing during the week is great.

I was there few hours ago to get few macron as it is written that they sell by pieces! However, the staff, especially the guy who was working this afternoon around 5pm. Was looking at us as if we were asking for it for free! And he was joking with his colleague in French of course as I cannot understand it and they were laughing. This was such a horrible service and the worst service I received during my stay in whole Belgium. I found it ridiculous to receive this service at 2021. And the macrons weren’t as nice as they look.

My wife and I have been coming here for decades. Service was great. Rooms clean. Walls and ceiling a little worn . Pools are in great shape . Operation of large slides was very limited, our only issue. Grand kids had a great time. Elevator a little stinky. Beach accessibility was excellent. Beach was clean and uncrowned. Beautiful day. Breakfast was readily available. Pizza delivery from town was quick and efficient. We are looking forward to going back soon .

We just got back from a 4 day stay- despite the resort clearly being renovated after storm damage, it was all quite nice. The room was perfect & nicely decorated, with updated bathrooms & kitchen. Huge balcony overlooking the pool with plenty of seating & the bedrooms were really big. Plenty of closet & storage space as well as having brand new high quality washer & dryer. The room service was prompt & the food was very good. We were sad to leave & would love to return! Everyone was so friendly & the other guests looked to be having fun as well. The pool is great

We have been coming to Port Royal for years and it was always known as the nicest condo in Port A. I realize they went thru a devastating hurricane but that was almost 4 years ago and they still haven't repaired everything. The roofs are half done, there was rust and mildew on the outside walls, the elevator broke 2 times the 4 days we were there. Our room was not cleaned before we arrived the floors were filthy. The master bedroom mattress should be thrown in the dump. The sink didn't drain in the 2nd bathroom and the toilet ran constantly. Our bar stools and kitchen table chairs looked

We have been here several times over the past 17 years and this has been terrible beyond measure. We made reservations 4 months in advance and everything we asked for was ignored. We asked if we could check in early but we're told we had to wait until 4:00pm, no big deal. We get there at 5:30 and the rooms are still not ready! We are charged the same amount for a room that is in terrible condition while the other people in our party have rooms that are more up to date and with a full sized refrigerator while ours has a half size refrigerator. The resort says there is nothing they can do and

Its so sad how run down this place is. A lot of items are broken and ugly. 1 chair is broken, the door for the washing machine room is broken, the locks dont work in the twin bedroom, the balcony is disgusting and the chair pillows are ripped up, the jacuzzi tub plug is gone, the paint on the wall is chipping, and the blinds were broken. I feel bad because many people steal from here and break everything. Hurricane Harvey really hit hard. The only good thing here is the pools. Its really a gamble for rooms because some rooms are good and some aren't. Last time I went here, the room was beautiful

Stayed here for several days with the whole family and had an absolute blast!!!!!
Soo many fun activities available at the pools from- slides, volleyball, water obstacle courses, ice cream stand, swim up bar, water area for kids...
Our room was very nice, showers were great, appliances all worked well! Plenty of chairs on the patio. Our family members room had a cockroach issue but they quickly were moved to a different room and had no problems after that! Could use more elevators and some maintenance on the outside/hallways area but that's a minor detail.
Definitely recommend this place

Edit: the AGM Omar is awesome. He's worth 2 stars back.
2nd Edit: Amy got another star back. Great leadership.
It's the little things that change your experience. Our room is awesome, our pool bar tender was amazing. But the pool staff...? Where do I start. We are not tall people in my family. My son who is 8 is 47", so they wouldn't let him ride the slide. I get it, it's 48" rules are rules. The first life guard was really cool and nice explaining to us. We did ask for a pool manager to ask, again our son is 8 and a proficient swimmer. The pool

First time here and the last. We had two rooms which one was Ok and the other was terrible. The pool is good and great access to the beach. However the property is actually a dump. The parking garage was filthy with mud water and whatever. ( looked like a dirty horse stall). The hallway to the rooms were also filthy. Mold on the walls and paint peeling off. There was only one elevator working and of course no one was working on the other. Customer service was terrible. The restaurant 361 was closed when we checked in due to redoing the floors. What were they thinking doing this during one of the

I've been coming here since I was a little kid and I wanted to bring my daughter to my favorite place in the world. This place is run down and for the price they expect, they should really fix this place up. The rooms are absolutely trashed, broken tile and it's currently raining and both bedrooms are getting filled with water as I type this. The pool is always great but everything else is trashed and should not be this expensive if it's so run down. The freaking picture in the hallway fell off the wall first night we were here?! That could've really hurt my daughter if she

Let me start off by saying I wish I'd seen this place before Harvey. I'm sure it will get back to it's former glory in time, but as of now the exterior is nothing to look at. This is the only reason I gave this a 3 star instead of 4/5. That aside, it is what's inside that counts. Our condo was nice, spacious and clean. I wish I'd have known more about it before coming, because it had extras like a wine fridge. Sadly, it remained empty. The kitchen had updated appliances and was very clean and fully stocked with dishware etc. Our decor wasn't brand new, but it was comfortable

I've been here for 20 years straight. Tons of memories and enjoyable events. They are in an insurance battle from Harvey and you can still see the damage caused by the hurricane. However, the room we got was an updated version and looked a lot better than pre-Harvey. If the rebuilding results in all rooms looking like the one we received, Port Royal will become an even better place to stay.

Not ready to open. Our room was filthy, had shotty repairs, dirty walls, trim, doors, fridge, pictures/art missing from walls. Dirty balcony and the balcony a sa furniture rusty and dirty. As my kids took a shower in the 2nd bathroom, they noticed a dried large dark blob of mucus on the shower curtain. Air vents dangling from the ceilings, dirty floors (daughter's socks were black immediately), small toilets that were rocking, not attached to the floor and moved as you moved.
While the pool is nice, not one table by the pool was cleaned or sanitized while were there, and social distancing

This one hurts to write. I have been vacationing at Port Royal for almost two decades. I have many fond memories of vacationing with my family every summer and always remembered what an amazing place this was. I brought my 11 year old this year and my husband who have never been. Disappointed is an understatement. While i understand there is an insurance battle going on, it's been 3 years since Harvey and it still looks so destroyed. The lobby/grocery area are gone, the top level restaurant left, gone. While the pool looks to be redone there is a thick layer of mold/mildew around the perimeter

Update: As we were leaving on the last day, the manager came to our room and saw the issues and gave us a partial credit and says they will address the safety issues. If we return in the future we will request specific rooms and not stay in the one we got this trip.
5 stars for the pool. 5 stars for the lifeguards. 1 star for our condo....
The pool is nice. That's it. The condo we got stuck with is cheep junk that looks like it's sparsely furnished from garage sale leftovers. Most of it is just ugly. The bedroom furniture for both room is identical and tacky. Also the beds are absurdly

We showed up at 3:40 and check in was at 4:00 and they didn't have the room ready so we sat in the parking lot for an hour and they said it wouldn't be ready till 10:00 that night which is 6 hours later. We paid $1200 for 3 nights and they couldn't give us are room on time. This hotel is unexceptionable

My kids had a fantastic time at the beach and Inflatible obstacle course. However, this place just isn't ready to be open yet. It's clear the hurricane left Port Royal in BAD shape. We read a review where it said Pool/rooms were redone. Well, we must have stayed in a room where they ran out of time and threw it all together. It was certainly motel style. Cosmetically, the entire resort looks extremely run down. The pretty pictures with lit up gorgeous fountain, pool views... we never saw that in the two nights we were here (fri-sun).
The elevators worked sometimes**** making it incredibly

My family has been coming to this place for decades. The hurricane left it in horrendous, but they are doing an amazing job getting it back in great shape.
Our condo was wonderful and the staff were bending over backwards to make sure that all of the guests felt comfortable and relaxed.
I really hope people consider this as a vacation spot. Texans need to support each other and it's an easy drive, even from where we are!

This chocolate shop has a great selection and good service. We took the mix and match deal which was 5.4 euros for 100 grams. Prices are steep, but that comes from the brand-name and location. Despite this, we came back a second time the next day for desert. Overall, you could probably find a cheaper place to get equally good chocolate. However, this one is convenient.

Nice property, lovely pools, mostly wonderful staff, passable condos, wildly overpriced (roughly $400/night for one bedroom). We are three 40-something friends on a girls' long weekend. We have stayed before, and I somewhat reluctantly stayed again-that hesitancy stemming from the high rental price. These were our observations.

The condo we stayed in was fine. It was not large but was fine for our purposes. It had a washer and dryer, as well as a miniscule dishwasher, and a fair amount of the usual kitchen amenities.
