Our practice philosophy is to provide state-of-the-art, patient-centered care that is appropriate and convenient. Our priorities are ensuring patient safety and providing effective treatments. We provide services in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cutaneous surgery, photo-medicine, dermatopathology, skin laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
Our physicians have been trained at the top dermatology residency programs in the country. All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Two of our physicians are also board certified in dermatopathology.

Services
We strive to be accessible to our patients. Our providers and staff speak multiple languages and are sensitive to the cultural practices of our patients. Hyun-Soo Lee, M.D grew up in Korea and Flushing. He graduated from Yale University in 1983 and the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Medicine in 1990.
For appointments, please call (718) 886-9000 or (201) 886-9000 weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Office hours vary from office to office but we will make our best effort to provide appointments as soon as possible. Walk in visits are accepted but may require extended wait time.
Although not all skin conditions are medically harmful, they can still be cosmetically unappealing. At Metro Dermatology, we offer cosmetic services to safely and effectively treat a variety of skin issues for children, adults, and the elderly. Metro Dermatology has four locations to conveniently serve our cosmetic dermatology NYC patients in Bronx, Elmhurst, and Flushing, New York, and in Englewood, New Jersey.
We employ procedures that are in the forefront of the dyschromia treatment using state of the art laser, medication, and treatment methods that are more frequently used in Europe, South America, and Far East. All of our treatments are based on published scientific papers on the subject in peer reviewed medical journals.

I have been coming to this office for the last 4 months + and seeing Samantha Hussain. I look forward to seeing her every time because she always answers any questions and doubts I have. I have also been seen by the MA Andrea for my chemical peels and she is very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this office as it is always clean, the staff are professional and friendly. It is also very helpful that I always receive texts and a phone call reminding me of my appointment.

I was a new patient, and my daughter is a medical assistant there and all her coworkers are so nice. They called me in within 5 minutes of me waiting, Dr. Kwak was very friendly and caring. He did a biopsy so well and fast. I loved my experience! I was on time for my appointment and was out the office in under 30 minutes (biopsy done and everything).

Samantha hussain was an excellent provider! She made me feel extremely comfortable and was very efficient with our time. She made the diagnosis on the spot (we did a biopsy to be sure) and was able to give me a breakdown of my treatment options in a way that didn’t seem too scary/intimating. The office is extremely clean and organized and they took me right away (I was of course on time to my appointments).

False Advertising. Not recommended for babies.
Our baby has severe eczema flaring up, and the website of this practice has a section for pediatric dermatology, so we went there hoping to get help. Only when we get there did we learn from the doctor that, quote, “we see pediatric patients, but none of us here is a pediatric dermatologist”. Which, doesn’t make any sense at all. There is not a single pediatric dermatologist, yet you are comfortable treating pediatric patients and also talking about it? If per your suggestion that we should consult with a pediatric dermatologist elsewhere, then

I had an appointment yesterday and they wanted to do blood test but the nurse who was supposed to draw my blood just didn’t know how to do it. When she tied my arm I asked her is it tight enough and she said yes. When she put the syringe she wasn’t able to take the blood and she asked other nurse to come for help so other nurse tried and she did the same like the first nurse who didn’t tie my arm tight enough. So they both told me I didn’t drink enough water and come back tomorrow to draw the blood. So I went back in today and the nurse who did today she did it so well. She tied my arm

I was at Metro Dermatology yesterday and what a great team working out of that office. Both Carmen and Kathy were really helpful in getting me situated.
Dr. Stacy Li is amazing. She is very personable and explains everything in ways you can understand. She began my treatment and I go for the follow-up in two weeks. She made the whole experience something I can look back on and remember fondly.

The front desk staff have always been polite and professional when I call/visit. My first visit with an MD there was not good, but I decided to go back and try meeting with someone else- I met with Stacy Li and she was great! Took her time to explain different treatment options and took my opinion and preferences into account. I went in for my first light therapy today and it was very quick and easy. Facility is clean and modern

I went to this Dermatologist and I couldn't be more upset, not only did they overcharged me for a 4 minute chat but also they weren't really helpful. I don't recommend this place you'll be wasting your money; instead look for products that can help you or look for another dermatologist because they'll give you overpriced products.
