General Pump Company, Inc. was founded in 1938 by Matthew Peck of Peck Well Drilling, a cable tool drilling company located in Gardena, California. In 1948, Mr. Peck was joined by two business partners, and relocated the Company to Los Angeles, and changed the Company's name to General Pump Service Incorporated.
General Pump Company takes pride with its strong Management Team Technical field and shop operations and office administration. Our team consists of 50 full time employees with an average employee tenure of approximately 20 years. Furthermore, approximately half of the Company's employees have tenures of 30 years or more.
