Hot Wings Cafe has been serving the Hollywood community and Greater Los Angeles area with delicious hot wings since 1986, all in a warm and inviting environment. We were the first restaurant to introduce the concept of Hot Wings to the Los Angeles area, and have since grown from our Melrose location to serve the Glendale and Pasadena areas with our famous Wings.

In addition to our Wings, we also have a full menu of sandwiches and sides, but our customers keep coming back for the Wings. We serve it mild, hot or extra hot, bbq and lemon pepper; with plenty of the house blue cheese or ranch dressing, carrots and celery are provided as well.

Very small wings! Very disappointed more bones than meat…
If you love wings maybe this is not the place a least they change the size…
Taste is average for a wing place in LA, I don’t recommend BBQ bc is just ok, lemon pepper is better.
Long Wait at the time I went just people in one table.
Inside place probably need a remodel…

This place deserves more stars than what it's actually rated, in my opinion. The wings were great. I liked both their classic Buffalo flavor and their lemon pepper seasoning they used. Also got their curly fries too! Everything came out hot and fresh. The reason I'm writing this review was for our server Gigi and the bussers who helped us out last night. She was the only server in the WHOLE restaurant last night. As someone who has worked in the food industry all their life, I can understand how stressful having more than 12 tables, let alone the entire restaurant, can be! Yet she still

Good spot for wings. Wouldn’t say they’re the best I’ve had, but they beat BW and Wing Stop for sure. I got the spicy BBQ and Hot sauces for my wings. Both were very good.
Reasonably priced too.
The curly fries are not good at all. Save your money and leave them out of your order.
Great ranch and blue cheese dipping too.

I’ve been coming here for many years (20+) and have stopped coming as frequently due to the very small wings. They used to be bigger when I first started coming here. Compared to every other spot, this place has the smallest wings ever! Someone else compared the size to the veggie sticks and they are absolute right! Even my kids make fun of the wings’ size! You define will not get your money’s worth. Your paying for more bone that meat! Hopefully the owner sees this and makes adjustments to their wing offerings. The staff brought my husband a cup of water with a piece of chicken stuck on the top. After asking for a replacement, they brought us dirty plates with a hair on top. When we called the waitress over to replace the plate, she didn't even look our way. She grabbed the plate and placed it under her arm and left. No "sorry" or anything! We used to love going here, as their wings are great. But they're SUPER dirty and unsanitary, and ignore you when you have a complaint ( they don't want other customers to hear ).

Been going there and the other locations in Pasadena and Hollywood for years. I always order extra hot. Their version of hot wings extra hot is always perfect! Not too insane but just right definitely sweating.
An Armenian gentleman I think runs this place with the best customer service I've seen. He and his waiters always hook it up with a smile.
The wings are top notch and honestly have even gotten better recently. They are better in some ways than the other locations and that's saying something.
Always clean and the wings are crispy and juicy.

Best chicken wings you'll find in Glendale
Guarantee the best things to get are the Buffalo wings or the lemon pepper this place can get very busy but it is worth the wait and I come here a lot and it gets better and better very good staff and they are fast I'd say this is one of the best restaurants in Glendale

Hi I came in to the restaurant 08/01/2021 at around 6pm.
I used to come here three times a week before covid. This was the first time back in a long time. We ordered three meals, and the waitress delivered the first one and said the others were on its way. I'm not sure how any restaurant would bring one meal and the other meals nearly half an hour after the first one. Obviously your at a restaurant to eat together.
Also I'm not sure if you changed the recipe, but the bbq sauce tasted like I was eating paint it was that strong. It didn't used to taste like this.

The wings keep getting smaller and drier but prices keep going up HOWEVER what really did it for me was that my 5 year old got food poisoning from the burger he ate here last night. He's been in the bathroom all night and is miserable.
Most frustrating part is I asked the waitress at least 3 times if the burger meat was fresh as it was for my son (he doesn't eat wings and is partial to burgers) and she assured me that "yes people order it all the time, especially for their kids.

Terrible experience and it makes me so sad cause it use to be fire. I'm an LA native and went to both the Middle and High School on Melrose. Been eating Hot Wings forever (I'm 35).
Ordered there last night on Sunday 5/24. Takeout wasn't ready when they said it would, waited an extra 15min passed the 30min initial wait. Got it home (only 8min drive) to find boxes of cold mushy food.
Why did we wait so long if the food was going to be cold? Not hot, not warm, cold. We literally had to take everything out the box and re-cook the entire meal ourselves. I ordered takeout so I would have to cookðŸ˜

Good service with friendly staff but the wings are very small and the fries don’t seem fully cooked (idk it might be there style though) but they charge to much for what was received.
Edit:
Just to clarify the issue wasn't how many wings we received it was how small the wings were. Also not sure what the owner is talking about when talking about ingredients that wasn't the complaint it was that the fries were not cooked.

I have to say I wasn't all that impressed. The employees are super nice and helpful, but the food was just ok.
The boneless wings are pretty small and outrageously expensive for what you get + the curly fries aren't quite fried enough.
I think if you're really craving wings this might be an option but otherwise I wouldn't say it's a must.
