Luckily I live in Pasadena that can find many good mediterranean and indian food, but my favorite is Green street cafe, I really love their kebab and always recommend to my friends.
I would give them six stars if I could. The food is authentic, absolutely delicious, made with good fresh materials. The place is nice and cozy and the staff are super nice. The chef lady checks on you to make sure everything is ok and you're enjoying the food. I mean where else you would see the chef kindly checking on you?! It is also a family business and they're doing it good.

Easily the best Mediterranean food in the area, even Los Angeles. The food is simply delicious, everything I have tried has been amazing. My personal favorites include the lulu kebab plate or the gyros. The owner is very kind and is undefeated in this cuisine. If you are ever craving a kebab I highly highly recommend you come checkout this spot. You simply will not regret it.

My Mom has been staying at a friend's house in Pasadena cause my sister was in the hospital at USC KECK and she has seen it in passing off and on for weeks and finally decided to check it out and was so amazing! The owner is so incredibly sweet and you can tell she genuinely loves her customers. I got the chicken breat strip meal and it definitely hit the spot. Juicy chicken, yummy salad, rice was yummy and the pita bread was delicious and super warm. My mom got the Greek salad with chicken and it looked so beautiful with perfect portions. Each bite is a party in my mouth. The deserts are specially made too if you've left room for them. In addition to the delicious food the restaurant is super-clean.
The friendly proprietors are dedicated to providing the best for their customers. I feel like I am part of their family when I'm there.

You know how you can tell people take pride in their food? When they're opinionated. When I asked for some extra sumac for my kabobs, the owner told me "don't put it on the rice, it will ruin the flavor". I laughed and told her I didn't even really like rice and she insisted her rice was delicious. The rice was good as was the entire meal here.... fresh and perfectly seasoned.
My favorite is the fattoush salad...zesty dressing, crisp veggies, and crunchy pita- delish!

Tried this restaurant for the first time with my family. It was absolutely delicious and fresh!! The chicken, falafel, Lula kebab, beef gyro, and beef steak kebab were soooo good! Beef and chicken were fresh and juicy.
For dessert we had both the desserts on their menu and bought even more to take home :)
The service was great and the owner is so nice and funny. We will definitely be back !!! Can't wait !

Best Mediterranean in Pasadena, very fresh they don't cook it till you order. Not to mention the beautiful kind hearted family that own this place. They see me And my husband almost every Friday :). It's small family owned and must try if around Pasadena or craving some fresh Mediterranean food. My usual is the chicken cabin plate, my husband and son get the beef cabin plate.

Back again! We live in a different county but when we find ourselves in Pasadena we alwaaaaays treat ourselves to Green Street Cafe. It is phenomenal food with amazingly sweet people. Highly recommend the beef gyro, this is my absolute favorite and one that I've gotten literally every time we've come back. To the owner - you are hilarious and your hard work is poured into the amazing food you make! We love this place, very near and dear to our hearts for many years.

Overall, we really liked this spot. The owners seemed very nice and the food was good. We had the Green Cafe Combo, which was actually large enough for both my wife and I to eat. We weren't stuffed, but it was the right portion for a meal for two.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat kebabs here since there are several spots in the Glendale area that are much better, but if you're nearby and looking for kebabs, this is a good spot to get lunch or dinner.

Been here twice and we’ve been LOVING this place! Small mom and pop restaurant in the corner with outdoor patio. The lady is so kind and friendly and you can tell she makes everything with so much love and passion.
Their beef kebap plate is our favorite so far, the beef is so tender and perfectly seasoned and even the rice is so scrumptious!!! I love wrapping the beef, rice, and hummus with pita bread and bites of charred pepper and tomato balance out with the juiciness.

You know what makes a great small restaurant.... The people. The owner is amazing, kind, on top of everything and always wants to make sure you feel like your eating a family members home. So aside from the people let's talk food. Great portions for a great price, you may have to wait a couple minutes but it's well worth the wait. What your get is fresh, flavorful and full filling plate of food. The garlic is perfect not to strong but not to bland ethier, the hummus has you thinking you could eat this all day.

Cons: It’s expensive and the amount of food they give was not enough. I could eat two of them if I could afford it. The plate in the pic plus a bottle of soda and one pita bread was over $20. The small eating area inside is cramped with 4 wobbly tables.
Considering how the flavor of this beef kebab has haunted me for weeks, its a 5 star hands down. Next time I have an extra $50, I would not mind coming back and doubling my last order. Definitely
