I was looking to a move to a more proactive State Farm agent that was also in walking distance of my home. I reached out to Brent's agency for a consultation to determine if this was the right transfer. They refused to meet with me, because they considered it poaching. Um, ok. That's fine. Another agency down the road (there are a few) was fine having a conversation.

After being a customer with them for 10+ years, I've finally decided to write a review. I have yet to meet, see or hear from Mr. Amacher myself after many visits in their office or by telephone.
Many customers stay because we don't bother switching like myself but after Mr. Amacher has collected my tens of thousands of dollars over 10 years, I don't think it's too much to actually get my insurance card in a timely manner. You only need to mail it out twice a year! To make it worse, my husband called last month and spoke to someone, again, to remind them they forgot to mail

I was recently separated/divorced and my husband didn't alert me to the fact that he let our insurance lapse. Unbeknownst to me - I had been without insurance for over 30 days. In addition I have an 18 year old son who drives my car. Needless to say - our rates were going to be a bit on the high side. Brent did ALL the legwork (called my old agent, ran the numbers for multiple options/scenarios). He was helpfu, understanding and went the extra mile with advice on how to help get our rates down over time.

Brent is great! I just started an auto and renter's policy with him and his team and he got me a great rate after I relocated to the area from California. The first time I stopped in, I got there just a few minutes before closing but he stuck around for almost 40 minutes after closing time just to get me a quote and answer questions. He definitely was interested in getting me what I needed and helping me to get the best rate and policies for my situation, not trying to once sell me on any additional, unneeded things. Nice, helpful, understanding; I would definitely recommend him if you need

Brent is hands down the coolest insurance agent you'll ever meet. His demeanor is warm, friendly and engaging. You have the sense right off the bat that he has your best interests in mind. I have gone to Brent for both personal and business insurance needs, purchasing renters insurance and life insurance policies. I appreciate his knowledge of the various options, his honest and ethical information and his description of a confusing system that creates a real and meaningful understanding of the costs, options and benefits. My two teenagers met with him for the life insurance policies I purchased

I have had such a great experience with Brent and his staff (big shout out to Connie and Brenda!). I have had a renters policy with him for years that I liked so much I have been known to give out his # to people in the apartment community I was living in. I recently moved and Brent's office took care of the switch beautifully. And two days ago I found myself in a dealership getting ready to purchase a new to me car. I called and Brenda gave me a quote and sent the dealership all the info in a jiffy! Brent then emailed me today to congratulate me on my car and thank me for my business. Super

Brent and his office are the best of auto and home insurance! I've been with State Farm since I was 15, now 40. And I've been covered by Brent's office since 1999 or so. My husband and I unfortunately have had to use our auto insurance several times that were not our faults and State Farm came through for us. The few times that we have had differences of opinions with the parent company (and we have), Brent and his wonderful office team have gone to bat for us and helped us work it out.
P.S. Yes, I have met Brent several times in person but his office staff is just as capable

He was my agent for about 7 or 8 years. The office staff was consistently unhelpful. The agent himself is rarely in the office. A few times I needed specific information and stopped in to the office, and the staff people there were rude and clueless. There was the sense that I was intruding on their time. Once, they actually gave me wrong information. It's not often I need to deal with my insurance agent so I stayed with this office for way too long, but when I finally transferred to a different agent, I finally understood what GOOD customer service was! My new agent is friendly, happy

I have been a State Farm auto/home customer for about 20 years. The last 9 with this particular agent...never have met him, but have spoken to several on his support team over the years (they are helpful).
Received a non-renewal notice for my auto inurance in the mail.......I have had two fender benders (bumper damage, nothing more) and a speeding ticket in the past year. Prior to that a clean record.
Called to discuss twice with Brent the agent...out of office both times...asked for a call back..got none. I will be taking my home and auto insurance needs elsewhere. The combination of a fair weather
