The purchase of a home can be one of the most stressful transactions in a person's life. With so many different aspects to worry about, title insurance is something that most people don't consider until the day of closing. Title insurance is an important part of the transaction and can end up saving you time and money in the future.
What does refinancing mean in real-estate? In the world of real estate, the term "refinancing" refers to when you want to exchange your existing mortgage with a new one (that extends more benefits to you, the borrower). Typically, refinancing is done so the borrower can obtain a better interest term and rate for their property.
At Provident Title & Escrow LLC, we are proud to announce we have established the "Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices" according to the recent suggestions and guidance provided for by the American Land Title Association (ALTA).

ALTA created these Best Practices to help its members highlight policies and procedures the title insurance industry exercises to protect lenders and consumers, while ensuring a positive and compliant real estate settlement experience.

When I called them to try to work out a solution, I received a non-apology and was told that because "humans work there, mistakes happen." No one wants to hear that, especially about legal documents relating to the biggest purchase of their life. Buying

She said she was concerned about my motives. She said that I shouldn't be shopping around for title insurance. The estimate that I was given said nothing about title insurance so I had wanted to talk with someone about that. She said "what if we spent all our time talking to customers, then
