I would recommend Dr. Covert because of the ease of getting an appointment, his promptness, his courteous staff, the accuracy of his diagnoses, his ability to communicate, because of all the time he spends with me and the close follow-up. I especially appreciated Dr. Covert's calling me the day after my first appointment to see how I was adjusting to my new medication.

Took my teen to him because he was able to see my kid fairly quickly. (My kid begged for help, so i tried to get it).
Spent a total of 3 hours with me, kid and both of us. Had my kid do tests. Was condescending to me (I am not a Doctor but have had plenty of experience with people with mental health issues), berated me for stopping him to ask questions (said it was his turn to talk, i had had my turn already and needed to just be quiet and listen). Told me the past was the past and didn't matter, it was time to move forward and focus. Told me and my kid he wouldn't treat my kid until my kid got

Going to this "Dr" was the worst thing I ever did. He is arrogant, condescending and controlling. Usually when I read negative reviews I find them to be exaggerated but you can believe everything you see in the reviews here. It is so sad that he's one of the only psychiatrists in a huge area that will take workers comp. People drive for hours to be berated and disrespected. He is more interested in money that helping you so he tries to ensure you'll see him for years. Some people I met had been going to him once a week for 20 years! STAY AWAY

You haven't been to a "Quack" until you've visited this guy! If, he is in fact a good person, he hides it very, very well behind a creepy and domineering bed-side manner.
This was my first psych/medicine experience so I didnt have a lot to compare it to, but I can honestly say I never felt better than when I left this practice (about a month into it.) I had followed a Nextdoor rec, w/o doing any homework...big mistake!
By the 3rd visit, you will likely feel trapped in a "catch 22" by his practice, feeling like you are chasing meds and ensnared in his bizarre and costly financial arrangement.

Do NOT go to this so called doctor! Do not allow your loved ones to go to this person! First, when your loved one goes in he "requires" them to sign an agreement that they cannot write a negative review of him! Second, he runs a bunch of expensive tests and then tells them that what he is telling them is based on genuine medical evidence and isn't just his opinion! My loved one just went in to get ADHD medication in a new city. However, this person then takes little things like riding a bike through a neighborhood at night (after classes to go home) or "being friendly" and says that these are indicators

Can anyone PLEASE officially report this guy? Its been an year since I have been to him but I forgot his name and surprisingly only just found my 'medical' papers. This man is a lying, vicious, ugly sack of SCAM. His office is laced with dumbfounded assistants and expensive stuff that he buys from YOUR money. Within the course of 2 visits he had managed to take about 2000 dollars from me, prescribe me a medicine that gave me cold shivers and made my heart rate go dangerously low, and give me some stupid online psychological tests that I had to PAY for. He is a disgusting work of art. Has no professionalism

Guy is a real piece of s!#/ ! My girlfriend went there today and spent 5 hours doing test to finally be seen by him didnt even look over the results before starting the meeting. Then he proceeded to cut her down calling her obese and telling her she ruined her career and went to school for nothing and much much more. She came home and has locked herself in the bathroom, crying for the last hour. DO NOT EVER MEET THIS QWACK!!!!!! I am seriously considering clearing my schedule tomorrow for a office visit.

This doctor is obviously a scam artist. Charged 200 for office visit and 150 for a questionaire. He wouldn't tell me the reason he was diagnosing me with what he had, but of course it would involve a lifetime of treatment. He then told me he wouldn't help me until I got a physical and said "how am I supposed to know what's wrong with you?" Sorry, I thought I was going to a capable doctor. Later in the session he went on to tell me "your job requires no skill and you can be replaced by any Mexican who rolls down the river." Thank you for that insight into my life in my time of distress. After all
