Most wooden shipping crate designs are driven by proven military specifications (Mil-Spec) maintained by the ASTM, and must be specially designed for the size, weight, shape, fragility, sensitivity, and destination of the item to be shipped. To us, standards are only the starting point.

Because of initiatives such as the Open Compute Project (OCP), racks are now being shipped fully configured, weighing as much as 3750 lbs. Mark, Gina ad Riley at Larson are an excellent team. They are knowledgeable when it comes to building wood crates, ATA cases and foam solutions. They handle customer requests promptly and are willing to help with short lead time needs.
Larson has always been willing to repair the cases they have built that have wear and tear from use at a reasonable rate. I recommend using them for your packaging needs.
