Blue Owl Bodyworks was created from Heidi's energetic connection to the healing color blue along with her life-long fascination with the wisdom and beauty of owls and their innate ability to see into the dark. Heidi looks deeply to find the cause of a client's symptoms and comes up with a plan of treatment for each client's individual needs to relieve pain and stress in the body and mind.
Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays. There's no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.
Your massage therapist may perform some assessments and tests to evaluate your symptoms. Depending on the techniques your therapist may use, you may or may not need to disrobe. For a full body massage, most clients undress completely. You may choose to wear underwear or disrobe to your comfort level.
Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest whole-body healing systems. Ayurveda literally means "life science". It emerged thousands of years ago in India. It is based on the theory that health and wellness rely on a delicate equilibrium between the mind, body, and emotions. The primary focus of Ayurveda is to promote good health by remaining in balance with nature.

Heidi always knows how to make me feel better! As a runner, and sufferer of chronic back and hip pain, my body requires constant maintenance and occasional "emergency treatment" to keep moving forward. Heidi is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. After just one or two sessions, she knew my "problem areas" even better than I did, and was able to address them and recommend small changes in posture to help prevent them. The energy that she brings to her work is both calming and healing. I would HIGHLY recommend her massage services to ANYONE.

Heidi is great! She takes the time to talk about your trouble areas and what your goals are for the session. I didn't feel like we were racing the clock like I have in past massage therapy appointments. Her pricing is very fair and she willfully shared her wisdom on how to avoid knotting and tightness in the future.
