Hi! I'm Sharon Pye, a photographer residing in New Orleans with my wonderful husband Charlie, our beautiful daughter Ada, and our little dog Bennie. When i'm not photographing, I love to cook, explore nature, and pretty much relax and enjoy life with friends and family. I daydream quite often and get lost in the details and beauty of the world.
Photography has always been my passion, and I love telling stories through imagery. I am happiest when I am creating, especially through photographs, and remain forever grateful to be able to call photography my profession. My wedding photography style is documentary and candid. I love capturing true, honest, and genuine moments.

Jess, Justin, and little Alex are the kindest hearts. From the moment I met them on their engagement session I felt so incredibly welcomed by them. They wanted a fun celebration in New Orleans with their loved ones and stressed how important it was to not stress on their wedding day. I think they did just that and we all had a blast on their day.

Sharon just photographed our wedding and we were so impressed with her. I haven’t even seen all the photos yet but I can already highly recommend her! She helped me create the wedding day timeline and listened to all of my pre-wedding concerns, and she even went and got drinks for me and the groom when we were feeling fatigued from our first look- she definitely went above and beyond her job as a photographer. Out of all of the event staff, Sharon’s name was mentioned the most by our guests as someone they were super impressed with. Thank you Sharon!

Sharon photographed my destination wedding in February in NOLA and I am so so glad we chose to work with her! She was so helpful and easy to get in touch with.
She recently sent us the photos and they are PERFECT! They're wonderfully lit, candid, so well edited and just beautiful! I can't say enough nice things about working with Sharon, we highly recommend hiring her!

Sharron did photography for my destination wedding back in December. I have absolutely nothing but fabulous things to say about her. She was beyond helpful in giving us advice for locations and went out of her way with everything. When she showed up at Lafayette cemetery (where we did our main shoot) she was 9 months pregnant and gave her all in caputuring our perfect day. My family and I couldn't believe her energy. Her photos were beyond exquisite. And she was so much fun to work with. I can't say enough positive things about my entire experience with her. She captured my dream day

Sharon photographed our New Orleans wedding, and she beyond exceeded our expectations. My friends and family were so impressed with her day of -- she seemed to be everywhere yet unobtrusive all at the same time -- I was planning on leaving her a fantastic review just on her seamless and effective presence flowing with the chaos and joy of a wedding day. My now fiancé hired Sharon to photograph his proposal, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They had been emailing back and forth for months and texting down to the last minute to make sure everything was set up perfectly and I had no idea. We rolled from the proposal straight into an engagement shoot and she was amazing. 100% recommend - Thank you Sharon!!

Sharon did a family photo shoot for us over Thanksgiving, and she did an incredible job!
She was great to work with prior to the shoot, flexible and creative in her recommendations on location. At the photo shoot, she did a great job keeping us all moving and getting the most out of our family - the final results turned out great!

Sharon is amazing and we are so happy we got the chance to have her shoot our engagement photos. We are from Denver and wanted our photos to be unique! Sharon perfectly captured the beautiful culture of NOLA in our photos! I would recommend Sharon to any one living in the New Orleans area. My husband and I planned a destination wedding in New Orleans. Long story short, organization was a mess (my fault), but as a result, I completely forgot we needed a photographer, which meant that at the last minute we were scrambling!
