977th different cheesesteak in the last four years. Romantic Cheesesteak Getaway Weekend Destination. This Cheesesteak is a good roll away from being a top cheesesteak. The Inn Cheesesteak comes on a seeded roll. It is braised short rib, horseradish sauce and cheddar cheese. Aside from a major roll breakout I think this roll is too average for this cheesesteak. The braised short rib was plentiful, juicy and flavorful. The horseradish sauce added great flavor. The cheddar was almost non-existent. I think three generations of a family work at the Stottsville Inn. I have very strong feelings

This is a hidden gem in the Community. It's about 2 miles from our house and we are happy we gave it a try. It's an old building which hosts an Inn along with a cozy restaurant. They just added an additional dining room with a stage and live music on some evenings. The ambience is better than expected when walking on. The decor is simple, off white walls and mish mash artwork. The patio area is beautifully lit with hanging warm white lights! We look forward to enjoying a meal out there in the summer.
We have eaten here about 4 times since moving to the area in June. We did not try it

Decent food but terrible service. Reservations for 10 at 6:00 pm. 2.5 hours later, got appetizers and 2 round of drinks. Waiter was inexperienced and did not check
Up on us. Order entrees at 6:56 and as of 8:25pm, still no entrees served. No service. Waiter clearly forgot to put order in and then told us several times that our order would be out in a couple minutes. Never came. We left and paid the bill (less dinner). Short staffed. Not trained. I'm was embarrassed as I had family in from out of town. Ugh! Pizza it is!

Gem only 25 minutes from King of Prussia! My husband and I chose this location to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough good things about our meal! We started with cocktails and a wedge salad which were all amazing. My husband had a tequila beverage. I had a delicious blackberry martini. The food was even better. My husband had the salmon. I had sea bass which was a special. Then for dessert we shared a flourless chocolate cake and a London fog. We also had wine. They had 8 wines on tap - it made for an awesome ability to taste several. I cannot recommend this place more

Very disappointed in the food here. The building itself looks amazing, the dining room looks fabulous and fancy, and the prices of the food reflect that. Sadly the taste of our food did not reflect that. The wings were cooked pretty nicely, but they were supposed to have sauce on them, and if we gathered all of the sauce from the wings and plate I'm betting it would have fit in a teaspoon. My sandwich was good, I actually liked it, but it was supposed to be roast beef and what I got was pot roast. Roast beef is dry cooked, and if you think I can't tell the difference between "smoked

We made reservations for birthday dinner. We were greeted BY NAME and seated promptly. The specials were extensive and so we chose some along with the regular menu. Can I say that a menu is expanded just because of the way the food is prepared? They use a woodfired grill. Oh boy! Great care to present the food and service. Thanks to our servers. They came by to check but not too often as to be intrusive. Great food and great service. In our neighborhood! Wow!!! I cannot more highly recommend and rave about this restaurant.

We are moving to the area soon and wanted to try some of the local places. I found Stottsville Inn and we went around 6:00 on a Friday. There is tons of parking and the inn is lit up really beautifully.
We were seated right away inside. They also have an outdoor option with heaters but the hostess said all of the "warm" tables were taken. We appreciated but will definitely plan to make a reservation for a warm table outside next time. Our waitress was nice and came right away for our drink order.
I ordered the asparagus soup special and veggie burger. I really loved their menu and

3 parts: hotel, dinner, brunch.
The Stottsville Inn is a beautiful white building in scenic Chester County, PA.
The entire hotel has been extensively remodeled to restore the original grandeur. Dark wood, antique furniture (fully functional) and large rugs. Many pictures are portraits of historical American figures. With some colorful exceptions.
Yet it has all the modern amenities you expect. I have a sink outside the bathroom. Good water pressure on the third floor. No elevator but a young man took good care of me and carried my bag up.
An elegant marriage of old and new.

We went last night for Father's Day and there were 9 in our party. The service was awful. They were out of several menu items, they brought the wrong food. Salads were brought without any dressing. We had to request that the table be cleared so we could have room for our entrees. One of my friends who ordered one item that they didn't have ordered something else and when it was brought it was wrong and by the time she actually got to eat everyone else was finished. The drinks took forever! And we requested salt and pepper and it was NEVER brought. When we brought this to the attention

This was our second time back. And again wasn't impressed. Drinks took an extremely long time to arrive. The specials were just that "special"because they were out of everything. My daughter attempted to order 2 different things on menu and was told they were out of it. I ordered the arugula salad, was told they were out of beets so ordered the house salad which was also made with arugula and came with romaine and the goat cheese was MIA. My family finished their meal before I received mine. The owner who was drinking a craft of wine told me it wasn't his problem. I have given

Went on Saturday night, 2nd night patio was open for dining. It was nice to get out and I was happy to have a nice meal (outside). The calamari wasn't hot enough and seemed pretty-cooked and reheated. My husband's steak was way undercooked (almost blue), they took it back to recook ... would have thought they would have brought s new one, since he cut into it. They just took the steak, so he could eat his other items (but now what I would have done... you want your potatoes with your steak). When it came back it was still under, but at this point, he ate it. My salmon (requested well

This has become our family's " favorite spot". The owner Michael and All the staff are extremely personable and very pleasant. The chef is Michael's son, who has years of experience in the industry, and is masterful at having a great selection of items that are all outstanding.
Everyone we have mentioned Stottsville to loves the great food, the wonderful vibe, the welcoming atmosphere, the great history, the really cool bar area, live music, and of course, the great food and authentic historic guest rooms at the Inn!
We highly recommend Stottsville, and enjoy the outside

The employees here are what makes this place incredible!
Every time we come here they always have a friendly and hard working staff, and on multiple occasions the owner was there and came to our table to talk with us. He really cares about his customers and his restaurant.
The food is also delicious! The broccoli rob grinder is mouth watering good and when I was here last the special was lobster Mac N Cheese!!
If you have a food allergy of any type or just want to modify any of the dishes they are so accomidating and will do it with out question.
We absolutely love this place and whenever

Needed to make a reservation for a party of 13 and they accommodated us perfectly in the upstairs dining room. I called a number of times in the days prior to our reservation to increase the amount of ppl in our party and it was never a problem. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and entrees and it was all very delicious! I don't think anyone in our party had anything but compliments to say about the food. Very yummy! Staff was great and attentive. The owner, Mike, made it a point to stop by our table to say hello and thank us. The atmosphere is really nice too. I've grown up around

Beautiful restaurant at a gorgeous area in Chester County! I just had a awesome lunch there on the back patio of the restaurant.
Everything we ordered was perfect. We started with the fried pickles which were nice and crispy with a delicious dipping sauce. For our meals my fiancé had the short rib cheesesteak which she raves about. Nice seeded roll with very tender short rib. I had the burger which was amazing. Perfect crispy bacon and the burger patty just melts in your mouth.
The building is awesome. Very old school from the 1800s. It is clean and spacious with a awesome bar with plenty

Simply fantastic! Great staff, great food, and a great place to spend a weekend while touring rural Pennsylvania.
The restaurant and bar were both fantastic, like the rest of the reviews here say...
But they're missing the hidden gem: The stay at the Inn itself.
My wife and I, with two other couples, stayed the weekend at Stottsville Inn for my birthday weekend. It was an incredible experience that we very much recommend.
We toured Amish country, went antiquing, saw the Valley Forge encampment, and did other sightseeing -- and staying at the Inn really added to the experience in a way

Overall we loved our experience at the Stottsville Inn! Almost every dish we ordered was delicious, except for the Carbonara, which was the only reason I'm giving it a 4 rather than a 5!
We ordered The pierogies, the steak, & the beef stroganoff and the flavors and freshness o each dish was top notch!!!
The desserts were so yummy too!!
Service was also wonderful!! We loved the quaint feel too, they've worked hard!! Great job!! We left the restaurant wanting to come back soon!!

First visit under the new ownership, I can almost walk to this place so have high hopes. Bar looks really nice and dining spaces are also modern now. Issues with stink bugs and ants in the area we were in, older historic building so understandable.
We made a reservation and didn't have to wait long. Appetizer pickle jar was cool, fries were limited in size. Food was okay, just okay. One person's burger came out about 8-10 min before rest of our food (party of 5). Nashville chicken was decent although would have been better as a full breast since biting into it caused pieces to fall
