Amanda's career in dentistry started in 2008. Originally from Windsor, she really enjoys the friendly environment that Day Hill Dental has to offer. She also loves interacting with patients and hearing their stories over the course of a regular workday. At home, she has three children named Ella, Adeline, and Emily, as well as a husband named Brian.

Dr. Farber was born and raised in Simsbury, CT. He received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from UCONN, and has been practicing since 1994. In 2008, he completed a fellowship in dental implants from UCONN. Dr. Farber offers CEREC one visit crowns, dental implant restoration, and air abrasion no-drill cavity removal to his adult and pediatric patients.

Nothing but good experiences here over the past four years. Dr. Hughes has consistently addressed every question and concern I’ve come up with, and every hygienist I’ve seen has been great about making recommendations that have changed my habits for the better. I’m taking good care of my teeth these days in no small part because of these folks. Another big plus: no billing issues!

If you are looking for a good experience when at the dentist, this is the place. From how the office is run to the dental hygienist and doctors ( especially doctor Farber and Hughes) this is the place! I have always dreaded going to the dentist, now it is a pleasant experience. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

It was my first visit I had been recommended this dental office by family. They were warm and welcoming. I felt right at home. Everything was explained to me and my fears were acknowledged and understood. I was seen very quickly upon arrival and everyone was pleasant friendly. Very very good first impression.

As a first time patient at Day Hill Dental my experience from day one has been extremely incredible. I was welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. The hygienist whom I met took her time to explain the process and answered all of my questions. The doctor came in and explained in detail what to expect at my next visit. I get very nervous when visiting a dental office but the staff here made my visit comforting. I am highly satisfied with the level of care I received.

I am NOT a fan of the dentist! AT ALL! I started coming here a few months ago. From reception to hygienists all the way to Dr. Hughes, the staff is top notch! Very friendly and accommodating. They are up front and honest with the costs. I'm glad I finally found a dental practice that I trust and enjoy.

I think they are a money making machine. I was a first time patient but get my teeth cleaned every 6 months for years. I have always had a problem with tartar build up and my cleanings usually involve quite a bit of scraping. Here, the dental hygienist did a water pic cleaning, then scraped a few teeth and told me I had to come back for a real cleaning in 3 weeks - which my insurance won't pay for so it would be $125 out of pocket. What a load of garbage! I am 49 years old and this has never happened to me. They are in it for the extra money they can make. Now I have to pay out of pocket

First time coming here to get my widsom tooth taken out! ( had to take 4 out) I went in for a consultation and an x-ray before I had my surgery. Everything was straightforward and made me feel very comfortable. The staff was amazing and friendly and I would definitely come back again if I have problems with my teeth in the future.
I got my wisdom tooth taken out on October 18 yesterday and everything went out perfectly fine. I wasn't bloated and it almost look like I didn't get my teeth taken out because everything was done the right way. Dr. Maguire was my surgeon and he was terrific

The Nordstrom of Dentistry! I can't begin to express my admiration for this business but I will try. I visited for a routine cleaning g and exam in December. The hysgeinist was VERY thorough and also quite gentle. No pain or bleeding! Upon review of my X-rays it became clear I would need some pretty extensive work. The doctor was very clear I. His explanation of what would be optimal treatment and laid out all the facts and options for me. Since my insurance is about to run out the office staff worked very hard to accommodate my need for several appointments in a timely fashion. I am now in
