Services
Pilates, originally called Contrology, is a system of over 500 exercises designed to strengthen and stretch every muscle of the body, specifically focusing on the "powerhouse" - the muscles of the abdomen, back, hips and buttocks that support your spinal column and provide good posture. Working this core area releases stagnant energy, improves circulation and strengthens the internal organs, thus preventing both illness and injuries.
In the year or so that I worked with Alicia, I found her to be a great teacher of Pilates but, more importantly, she was a great partner. She understood my goals and worked with me to achieve them. She is firm and fair - an invaluable combination for a teacher. She knew my body as well, if not better, than I did and was able to coax and encourage me to go to levels that I never thought possible.

I've been wanting to try pilates for a while, but have always found an excuse and now I'm so glad I finally did it. Rebel have got a really lovely studio, Nick the instructor is super knowledgeable and everyone made me feel very welcome. Really looking forward to doing this weekly with Rebel from now on!

I have just joined Rebel Pilates and love it, challenging and always different.
Nick is a great instructor, well organised and the classes run on time. Lucy is also an Instructor at Rebel, she is excellent too, they both make sure you are doing everything correctly to get the full benefits of Reformer Pilates.
A very positive experience, no negatives at all.
Highly recommend Rebel Pilates.

I had my first class at Rebel Pilates last night and I honestly can't recommend it enough. I have been having lower back pain for a while now due to a weak core and even after 1 session I can feel a difference. Nick was so knowledgeable and really great at correcting posture, he was also giving each of us personalised feedback and recommendations for how to improve each exercise for our individual needs. I have tried a few things over the years but I feel this will be by far the most beneficial. Can't wait for my next class.

I have now completed 5 classes, and can honestly say, even in this short time, I believe I have made some real progress thanks to Nick and Lucy (and the fellow students!)
You are made to feel confident and comfortable in the class and due to the class sizes, you aren't lost in a sea of students and errors in form or ways to improve are seen and given with no judgement or criticism.

I've been going twice weekly to the group classes for about 6 months now. I absolutely love the classes, they are dynamic and a fantastic workout. The studio is really clean and the reformers are spaced out. Plus there are different levels to progress through if you're a beginner. Really can't recommend Nick and Lucy highly enough, I have really seen a massive improvement in my form, strength and stamina.

I've had 2 one to one sessions with Nick to focus on injury rehab and since joined a weekly class. I have never loved exercise but Nick's reformer classes have been a game changer. Nick is super knowledgeable and puts your post injury nerves at ease straight away. Rebel is the most welcoming exercise class I have ever joined and I love every moment of every class. A real gem.
