Had a great experience on the Newport cruiser whale watching on the 9 AM tour we had bought a Groupon and they still honored it a year later because of Covid we went for my birthday not expecting to see much activity but we ended up seeing tuna boils baby dolphins swimming with the mommy pods as well as a whale. there was an oceanographer on the boat she was very informative the weather was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Was in Oceanside couldn't find anything my wife wanted in stock. Found Newport Cruisers online and checked the in-stock option on the website. Found the exact bike she wanted. We drove from Oceanside to the store which is now located around back in a separate unit. When we arrived we discovered they had the bike but it wasn't assembled and was still in a box. The store was only 20 minutes from closing. Unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was so helpful. When we wouldn't be able to return tomorrow he offered to assemble the bike for us now. The two guys stayed overtime to build

These guys are awesome! We brought in two of our bikes last minute and wanted our electras decked out with cup holders, baskets and rear baskets. They completely stopped everything and worked on our bikes for hours, showed us all the options, fixed my husbands pinched tire tube, and gave us rentals to use while we waited!
Honestly, give this place a shot if you're ever in town and need bike rentals or repairs. Super awesome people and we WILL be back for our kids bikes. Thank you guys!!

Went into this bike shop today and the lady was on a (sounded to me a personal call) and didn’t acknowledge us. Walked around a bit and another family walked in (caucasian) and she quickly hung Up and asked if they needed help. Never acknowledged myself or my husband! So I told my husband let’s go someplace else. Whether you are having troubles a long day or just trying to get back to your “norm”. That should not be our fault, you should pride your customers with same respect and dignity no matter there race! After reading your reply’s to people that have a bad review towards your business

Want a cheap ride down Newport? Then Newport Cruisers is the way to go. They charge $5 an hour. The hour definitely does go by fast. This location does not take reservations, so it's more of a walk in service. The only thing compared to other bike places is that they open a little later. They're opening times as of right now is 11am, but nonetheless you can't beat the price!!

I dropped my truck off for repairs in Santa Ana, and took advantage of the wait time with a training ride for the Lifecycle San Francisco to LA ride. So, I rode my bike west on Edinger to Santa Ana River Trail and then rode to Newport Beach via PCH. Great ride, but 2 of 3 screws on my right cleat came out leaving just one. I could not twist out of my cleats.
So I took my foot out of the shoe leaving the shoe attached to my pedal. I'm sure I looked like a doofus. Using a short 1/2 inch screwdriver tool from my tool kit I pried the cleat off the pedal. It was not easy to do.

Came in close to closing time (15 minutes till) and Caroline was extremely helpful outfitting my bike with some accessories. She also sold a fella a really nice cruiser and had the mechanic on hand to make small adjustments all while making us both feel taken care of. I was really impressed by her ability to sell the value of additional items I needed but hadn't thought about all with a quick wit and fun demeanor. Really nice being able to support my local bike shop and receiving awesome service in the process.

I had a great experience buying a bike there!! Greg was amazing and provided his time, insight and lots of choices. He had me test ride a half a dozen bikes to find the perfect fit. It turned out to be the Electra Townie Path 9D. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and even the technical guys came out to answer some questions. I am in my 60's and it was important to find the most comfortable ride for me. If you are in the market for a crusier style, give these guys a try ... you won't be disappointed!
