Starting with a little pickup truck, a couple of pumps and tanks, and an honest hard work ethic, his phone began ringing the very first day in business.
It has never stopped! Since then, his company has served thousands of customers drilling wells, making repairs on wells, pumps, tanks, and conditioners. His sons, David, Chris, and son-in-law Brett, took over the reigns in the summer of 1997. Since then, the business has tripled in size and capabilities due to the same determination and ethical practices as their father.

Most homes are serviced by a submersible pump because it is more efficient than a jet pump. These pumps typically last 10-15 years if your system is maintained properly. Although most well water is naturally microbiologically safe, some wells test positive for bacteria. Most of the time, the source of the contamination is from above ground. If the well does not have a sanitary bug proof cap, insects can enter the well head and cause a positive bacteria count. Health departments recommend having your water tested annually.
Investing in a preferred customer maintenance agreement is a wise decision for a number of reasons. It is less expensive to maintain your well system than to wait and fix big issues that occur but could have been prevented. 4. We arrived home from vacation on New Year's Eve 2021 to find no water pressure in the house. We called early the next morning on New Year's Day. By early afternoon Matt had arrived and diagnosed the problem as a failed well pump. He had all of the equipment needed to install a new pump and upgrade our tank, and by the end of the day we had water restored to the house. Matt was extremely professional and did a great job. We really appreciated the fast response and quality work, particularly given that it was all done on New Year's Day.

I highly recommend the well services that Edward Powell & Co provide. They were extremely sensitive to the urgency of the project as we hadn't had water for 3 days. They rearranged their crew's schedule to accommodate us. They explained every step of the repairs and recommended safety procedures to insure that our well pump wouldn't need to be replaced again. They use top of the line well pumps with great warranties. They were personable and very professional. From now on I will only deal with them for anything related to our water, well or purification of our well water. And I must also add the

Jason came out first thing on the 4th of July to determine why we no longer had water in our house. He quickly determined the wiring to the pump had broken and had a new pump, hose and properly encased wiring installed in a few hours. He did an awesome job

Eben and Ethan were the technicians in my home for Water conditioning and Filter replacement. Ethan was efficient and pleasant. Eben was amazing. Very knowledgeable and instructive. I knew nothing of my home well process and Eben was patient and very slowly explained each step of the process so a layperson could understand the operation of maintenance for my well and conditioning.
It was very refreshing to have two well mannered and professional young gentlemen help my family understand good well maintenance.

Even and Nate were very knowledgeable , thorough, and communicative. They explained the entire service procedure in detail and were friendly in doing so. We discussed future options for our well and filtration system and there was no high pressure shuck and jive. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone seeking service or installation. We called Powell when our well pump failed on a Saturday morning- we were not Powell customers previous to this mishap, but Steven responded immediately and said he would come as soon as he was done his scheduled service calls. Steven called us throughout the day to update us on his arrival, and came to us in the evening- most companies would have pushed us to the next day, due to the late hour- but Steven got right to work and explained everything he was doing from start to finish. He was professional, polite, efficient, and just a really nice person who obviously knows his craft! Even though

We lost all water Saturday night just before Mother's Day. I called and within a few minutes I was speaking with a technician on call. We were able to get partial water flowing and I was able to get a service appointment for first thing Monday morning.
Eben and his partner showed up, quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the faulty water tank immediately. It couldn't have been a better experience. He carefully walked us through options we had on sizing the new tank, the pros and cons and what others had selected. They did a nice clean installation and it's better than new.

Eben and Sam were GREAT. Very few technicians in any line of work will take the time to discuss options, then weigh the pros and cons, allowing the homeowner to make the decision with as much information as possible.
