That's what we do. At Pocono Brewery Company we take something that we are passionate about and find a way to personalize it. Our talents were first brought overseas from Napoli in the early 1900s. After settling in Northern New Jersey, we eventually made our way to the Poconos bringing our love for our home country in the form of traditional Italian-style pizza made with time, care, and fresh, quality ingredients.
The Vitiellos are also a family of risk-takers and that's why we've decided it's time to personalize a new passion of ours- craft brewing. When we first purchased PBC, we immediately saw the potential in it- enormous property, great layout, and a prime location. Yet when we looked at the building, it had no heart in it.

Services
About us: Our vision is to offer one-of-a-kind craft beer, a family restaurant, and hand-tossed pizzas. We offer American pub favorites, and fresh pizza dough made from scratch. As creators, we only share what we can take pride in creating. We have always believed that simplicity is bliss. It's not about mixing and matching complicated flavors and constructing elaborate menus.
Our main location is in Swiftwater PA and the location of our brewery and winemaking. We are proud of our service to the area and the traditional Italian pizza and Italian and American dishes our restaurant serves. We are located near Tannersville, Camelback, and Great Wolf, a stone's throw from Mt. Airy Casino and just down the road from Mt. Pocono and Tobyhanna.
With about 20 beers on tap, a majority are Pocono Brewery creations and serval guest taps. We have four staples that will always be on tap and then we will have a lot of seasonal beers. The taproom will serve a more limited menu than our Swiftwater location. It still features about 15 signature wood-fired pizzas made in an oven from Napoli, imported meat and cheese boards, salads, nachos, and lighter fare.
Fresh traditional Italian Pizza, wood fire oven made in the old world style served with the freshest ingredients!. Here at Pocono Brewery Company, our pizza is more than just sauce, cheese, and dough, it's a family tradition. We have gone through the lengths of importing a wood fire pizza oven. It was sourced from a small company in Naples Italy to bring the worldly experience of Napoli style pizza to your neighborhood in Pennsylvania.
We brew a variety of beer. Some of them are seasonal brews, while others are one of specialties such as a limited run sour beer or a whiskey barrel full of beer, buried for one year to IPAs such as our flagship Wally Wilson or Rubus IPA. Some standards are pilsners, brown ales, pale ales and stouts.

Pocono Brewery Company is a craft brewpub that opened in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania in June 2017. It was founded by Italian immigrant Silvio Vitiello and his sons Silvio M. and Jean-Luc. The elder Vitiello emigrated from Naples, Italy in 1984. He would eventually open a pizzeria in the Poconos in 1998. Years later, both of his sons saw the rising popularity of craft beer and got the idea to open a family-friendly restaurant that featured pizza and beer. When the brewpub opened in 2017, it featured a brewhouse put together with custom-designed Italian brewing equipment. The highlight of PBC's

Food was awful, seems like they picked up yesterday's prison food and served it. Drinks weren't bad, but do not recommend the food. We got the appetizer sampler and the pretzels were stale, chicken was so fatty, and the cheese was from an expired can of cheese-wiz. Ended up getting food from the gas station down the block which was 10 times better.

We wanted to like this place. We came on New years day hoping to watch football, get some beer and eat lunch. There are minimal TVs and difficult to see from the tables. We asked to change the channels multiple times and there were many issues with that. The beer is below average. The wine tastes like it has gone bad. I was told it's because it's different and made in house, but it is not drinkable. The food all came out at different times. Half our party was finished eating before the other half got their food. Pizza was good I enjoyed that. Burgers/fries were okay. Overpriced for what

This place looks amazing on the outside.... sadly the inside was dirty. When we arrived there was maybe 3 tables sat but tables were left dirty for our entire visit. As we were leaving we passed by atleast 8 tables that still weren't cleaned off! Service was slow and our food tasted like frozen products. Beer was served in a broken glass and our server Shannon was surprised when we asked for a new one.

Was excited when they re-opened a few years ago. I had been prior and it was horrible. It was great. Great service, great food, great beer, and great brick oven pizza. Recently, however, it seems they are always too full. The last ~10 times I've tried to stop in, at least 7 of those times they had a 30+ minute wait. 30 minutes tonight on a Sunday night at 6:30 when all other restaurants were mostly empty. Their parking lot was 1/4 full (there were three available spots RIGHT out front). The few times we did get a table (on a Friday at 2:30) the waitress was extremely inattentive both times. ~20

I love the variety and the ability to sample brews with flights and what better place is there to do so than a brewery? Though the beer did not hit any unusually high notes, the surprise of coming here turned out to be the pizza. They claim the best pizza in the Poconos on their website, and I am sure that is actually true. The word fired oven was a good sign of possibilities as I walked to the table. Ordering the Burrata -- Burrata, Oilve Oil, Arugula, Prosciutto, Shaved Parmesan, Balsamic Glaze white pizza made those possibilities real. The crust was absolutely paper thin and done perfectly.

Water they gave our table was warm which was gross considering it was very toasty in the building. That’s little and can be fixed however when I bit into my shrimp there was a stiff coily hair in the breading. Then to top it off I payed $10 for a dry brownie that was just chocolate cake. Waitress constantly rolled eyes at us which was incredibly rude considering we had to deal with the 18% tip already added on. Not a good experience:(

I honestly didn't try one of their own beers except for a taste of their high ABV aged stout which was really flavorful.
Yes, it's weird having to wait because of Covid understaffing issues, especially when it appears to actually be due to people voluntarily choosing not to work.
Any-who, we weren't in a hurry the day we were there so the wait didn't really matter. The bartender was so self deprecating and sarcastic that she made it hilarious to be there.
I had a few juice bombs and the pizza wasn't bad either
The bartender made a potentially "blah" experience

Stopped for an early dinner at the PBC. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a glass of Wally Wilson IPA. Linda ordered the Burrata pizza with a glass of Muscato wine. Hannah and Emma ordered the fish and chips with a loaded potato side. Everything was delicious especially the two pizzas and the curly chips. The restaurant had a very large covered porch for large crowds and brewery products to purchase and enjoy at home. We definitely would visit again if in the area.

Normally don’t go to a brewery for a nice meal but glad I did this time around. This place definitely have a nice variety of food selections on top of many beer options that they brew out there . The venue itself is huge and well maintained. Loved that they have an option for beer tasting (4 small bears at the price of one big one ). The food was just good - it doesn’t taste any special but the portions are huge and the price is pretty reasonable. Service was fairly quick and welcoming. Overall for the quality/price this place check out all the boxes

We had an enjoyable lunch outside the other day! Pulled pork was good, so was the pizza, and the calamari! None of us cared for the “chips” that came with our meals, needed salt or something. No flavor, just tasted like oil. Hubby liked most of the beers/ales he tried. Definitely a neat building. Good job on the out door seating. Hope the birds don’t find the trusses to be a nice hang out.

Tried 10 beers. A flight + 2 samples. Not one beer that I would have wanted a pint of. I've never been to a microbrewery that had absolutely nothing to offer until yesterday.
Plus, it was hot in the place. Ok, there's a wood burning pizza oven but the temperature outside was reasonable, imagine a 90+ degree summer day - yikes.
The bar service was slow and the bar was not full.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. We had a great time. We were welcomed by amazing staff that really made sure the large group was taken care of. The menus had a lot of options and for the price you were paying the portions were larger for sure. We really enjoyed our time here as a group. The beer menu was good but they didn't have all the options listed on the menu which was a little disappointing. The same was true with the wings as well. We did enjoy the items on the menu and they had a great variety to choose from. The wine menu was slacking a little but it's a brewery so I didn't expect

I've been wanting to try this place for years and after finally doing so, I have some thoughts.
First, our waitress wasn't as attentive as we're used to when dining at other restaurants. I don't expect lightning speed but 15+ minutes to refill our drinks isn't cool. Especially since this was a Monday evening and there wasn't any kind of dinner crowd whatsoever. We didn't see much of our waitress at all during our meal.
Second, I'm perplexed by the fact that for the kids menu, there is no pizza. There is an ample section of different pies to choose from

This place has been on my to-do list for a while and just so happens that I was around the area on my last road trip. With covid guidelines, the outdoor patio is spacious and set up with tables 6 foot apart. There's even a stage set up for live music events. The bar sits right in the center of the patio. Pennsylvania recently opened up their indoor dining and they gave us the option to dine inside or outside. Considering the beautiful blue sky we opted in for the outside option.
Started off with a beer flight that came in small cups. 4 - 5 oz pours for $10. Their raspberry ipa was my favorite

All of the food was great. Service was good also. The chicken sandwich had a huge chicken breast in it and was so worth it. Both steaks were amazing! The firecracker shrimp appetizer was also really really good. The loaded potato skins were okay. Beer selection was good and I like the natural wood ambiance of the place
