I have a 32 year old car which developed a rust spot. The online estimate I got from Maaco of $1100 quickly climbed to more than $5000 when I showed up. A friend recommended Ray's Auto Body, so I stopped by. They ordered an original replacement fender, even called to apologize when they found out it was $50 more than I was originally quoted. I took the car in after hours on a Tuesday, leaving the key in the drop box. By Thursday, it was ready - and it looked amazing. They could not have been nicer or more professional. Total bill was $837 - way less than I would have paid anywhere else. I

I was here a few years back and referred several friends there for car body repairs as it was decently priced and time bound back then.
I've been there this year for a minor ding correction and mirror replacement. Got the estimate immediately but wait for actual appointment was long. The estimates were high compared to some other budget body shops despite being a returning customer. Not the experience I had previously.

My Jeep had scratches in the roll bar and on back driver and passenger side while my wife's Jeep had scratches on the rear passenger side wheel panel. Each Jeep was fixed perfectly and the team at Ray's was extremely friendly and explained the process. Additionally they noticed my wife's inspection sticker had expired and took it for inspection.
The work was excellent and the restoration makes both Jeeps look brand new. We were very impressed with Jennifer and the entire team going the extra mile for the inspection and buffing out a couple of other spots that noticed for free.

If you go to Ray's you will NEVER have doubts about the work being done to your car and what they charge. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. After finally being fed up with being taken advantage of at another body shop where they were making false claims about problems with my car, someone referred me to Ray's and I will never go anywhere else. They looked over my car entirely and said there was nothing wrong with any of the said issues the other place claimed there were. I have peace of mind knowing that they're caring for my car!

Ray's has taken care of all my family's automotive uh-ohs for at least 20 years! They are meticulous in their work and very fair in their pricing. They'll often do extra little touch-ups elsewhere on the car at no charge while fixing the bigger damage. And they're fast, too! The only time I've ever gone elsewhere was when the at-fault driver's insurance company insisted on using their preferred body shop. The end product was okay but the service was not nearly of the caliber I've experienced at Ray's.

The very best. Ask for Jennifer—she will work on your car on the spot almost! I pay for my own bodywork rather than risk higher rates with USAA. Accordingly I have shopped around carefully. I have been to Vienna Autobody in the past and see that the two shops get exactly the same no. of reviews and overall ratings. I give Ray’s the edge for sure. (There is also a body shop in Falls Church not far from Lee Hwy and 66. USAA recommended them too and I tried them once.) Again, pick Ray’s.

I just had a great experience at Ray's, specifically with Jennifer the owner. I had a lot of work done on my front bumper/fender/lights/etc. She was so kind and helpful, really listening to my needs and how I wanted to keep the cost down. She was also very communicative, efficient, and most importantly the end result looks great! If I ever need a body shop again this is where I'll be returning to.

Just seeing the business response on my authentic review. Yelp customers, let me assure you I am not a fake or bogus customer. We did business with this place, but most likely the paperwork was under my spouse's name (different last name). It is interesting to see how the business puts the blame on the customer and not owns up on their mistakes and bad service.

I am very happy with the repair Ray's did on my car. The work was excellent and done quickly. They dealt directly with my insurance company which was fantastic. They gave a very fair price and my car was exceptionally clean when I picked it up. And finally the people are super friendly. I highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience at Rays, to say the least. My SUV was rear-ended and the repairs should have been simple but Ray's made them incredibly complicated and returned my vehicle twice without complete repairs.
The third time I went to retrieve my vehicle, I was lucky enough to roll down my window as I left, because at that moment I heard a clicking sound. The sound was a large piece of scrap metal in my new tire. I turned around immediately. Ray's mechanic had the courage to tell me to my face, that I must have gotten the piece of scrap in the 5 minutes since I left. In the end they patched

This shop seems to do quality work, but the customer communication is not so good. I dropped my car off on Monday morning and was told the car would be done by cob Wednesday; I specifically left my work number as the contact.
Nobody called me on Wednesday so when I called the shop I was told the car would actually be finished on Thursday. OK, Thursday afternoon rolls around and nobody calls me at work. I called the shop at 4:30 and got an answering machine and left a message. No reply. When I called again at 5 they told me that yes, the car is ready, they had left a message at my home number

My experience with this company has been 5 star all the way. Every employee is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I took my car because I was in an accident. They were timely with repairs and their wonderful estimator, Jennifer Johnson, updated me every step of the way. They guarantee their work and stick to their word. I will choose this mom and pop shop over any shop in the area, any day. I am thoroughly pleased with the whole experience and Jennifer Johnson is a real shining star of this company.

This is such a nice company to work with! I had a difficult situation and had called a few body shops that had been recommended. I was hoping for a few moments of over the phone advice to decide whether it was even worth bringing this car in. Completely different from the other shops that I called, Jennifer spent time with me. She quickly understood what I was dealing with and gave a good suggestion to bring the car in for them to have a full look and provide an estimate. Twice in the past six months, other people have crashed into my car, and twice in the past six months, I've brought my car to Ray's, and they've done amazing work. I couldn't be more pleased with the work I just had done on my bumper. As another reviewer stated, it was half of what I expected it to cost. The work was timely, and impeccable. Car looks like new both inside and out (they cleaned the inside, too!) Most impressive though was the staff. Each and every person I talked to was courteous, informative, congenial and helpful.

I had the opportunity to visit Ray's Auto Body after a very expensive run-in with a deer, which left the hood of my car banged up. On first glance, I thought I was pretty lucky, since somehow, the only part of the car that was damaged was the hood (not even a broken light). But somehow, it still ended up costing $3500 to repair.
First, it took 6 weeks to get my car back. They weren't taking appointments until 4 weeks later! Then, the repair was only supposed to take a few days, but ended up taking a week and a half. Of course, they never called to tell me that there would be a delay

My mom and I have gone to Ray's for approximately a decade and have seen their product go from great to sub-par. I was hit by a van on I-495 and decided to take my car to Ray's, based on good past experience.
My car was supposed to be in the shop for roughly 4 days, I got it back in 9. That was disappointment #1.
My brand new bumper is starting to detach from the frame, only 2 months after installation. My right headlight got paint on it; how hard is it to cover the headlight before painting!?! The HUB assembly on the left side was replaced; I discovered that they put the old rotor
