The size of our building and our variety of bicycles make us Oklahoma's bicycle super store, but its our staff that makes us Oklahoma best. With nearly 70 years of combined experience there's few questions or concerns that can stump our knowledgable staff. Pat was raised in Iowa where he started working on bicycles in the 70's.
Want to get into cycling but don't know where to start? You've come to the right place. Bicycles of Tulsa's vast inventory caters to the needs of every rider from the casual neighborhood expedition and river cruises to weekend warriors on the road or the mountain. This guide aims to help you decide exactly which one of these riders you are.
Do you want to be able to keep up on the 40-70 mile rides? Or maybe you just want to ride for hours at a time and experience the countryside while you get a good workout. If any of these apply to you might want to think about getting a road bike. Road bikes take efficiency to the next level using lighter and stiffer materials like aircraft quality aluminum and exotic carbon fiber to make sure you get the most out of each pedal stroke.
What is gravel riding? Gravel riding, aka gravel grinding or adventure riding, is an increasingly popular form of cycling that combines elements of road- and mountain-biking, and consisting mostly of distance riding over unpaved roads. Whether dirt roads or gravel roads, trails must consist of non-technical and unsurfaced roads to qualify as gravel riding.
So you want to play in the dirt, eh? Maybe you want to dodge some trees, rocks, and the occasional woodland creature. Sounds like you want a mountain bike. Mountain bikes in general are going to be beefier: larger tubing frames, wider wheels, bigger knobby tires, and hardcore suspensions. These guys are made to be thrown around on the trails; they're at home in the woods and on the mountainside.

I was due to replace my old cycling shoes. I went to two stores before this one and the other stores either lack inventory or just not really wanting to help at all. Not until I came to this store.
Nothing but thankful for the employees.
I called the store and JC answered all my questions, he told me to come over so he can show me the cycling shoes they have that could fit me well.
When I got there, JC was helping another customer, so Scott actually came up to me and ask what I need. He went through so many shoes until we found one that actually fit me well! He even explained everything in details

I went in because I'd somehow lost both screws that hold the water bottle cage on the bike frame. "Yes, we have those." "How much?" "Oh, I'm just gonna give them to you. Do you want chrome or black?"
So yeah, loyal customer for life made right there.
Four stars instead of five because stuff seemed a little pricey, but I must admit I hadn't been bike-gear shopping for a while and maybe I just don't know what stuff costs anymore.
But I will need tires very, very soon, and I'll bet you everything in your wallet this very moment that I'll

I purchased my first bike from BoT shortly after Tulsa Tough in 2018. I've since bought a nicer road bike and most of my accessories from this shop. After being in the cycling community for a couple years, I have visited pretty much all the other shops and although they have great things about them, I find myself always coming back here. They have the largest selection and honestly.... the most non-bias, knowledgeable staff as well. They recognize different brands have different great things about them, and carry the best of whatever they're selling. Whether I was brand new, or now a

I came in to have my bike repaired. Even before I got into the building. I worker saw me struggling to get my bike out my car and help me out. I finally make my way inside and he guides me straight to the repair section of the store. I was immediately greeted and ask how can we help u. I tell them what's going on and ask for a quote. He give me a quote and also an estimated time when my bike should be ready. Fast forward 5hrs later they call me and said sir we got to your bike sooner then planned and you're bike is ready to be picked up. This was my first experience getting my bike worked

Great selection and customer service. As a bike novice my wife and I had no idea what we were doing. Our salsas person asked us all the right questions and showed us the various options with zero pressure. We found a couple bikes and the went for a ride. Liked how the bikes road and they set them up for us including adding the various accessories we wanted all in short order.
I think you will be happy shopping here. Zero pressure with a great deal of knowledge.

I purchased a new road bike here just a few weeks ago. Josh helped me for hours during my first and second visit. He made sure my bike was comfortable and the right size for my frame. He answered all my questions, was professional, and pleasant at all times. I would absolutely recommend this bike shop and plan to go back.
