The Surly Cross Check is designed to supply a comfortable but lively ride. The tubing is CroMoly steel, high quality drawn tubing built to Surly's demanding specifications. The Bobcat Trail family of mountain bike hardtails are designed for the rider looking for a capable singletrack machine, featuring everything you need to have a great ride. This lightweight, high-pressure rim tape offers great protection against spoke hole flats and is easy to install. This Italian-made tape is light and thin, so it will not inhibit tire fitting. Nylon elastic material is used to ensure a snug fit without movement. The cream of the crop in tubeless valves, Star Valvez are fully CNC'd masterpieces precisely designed and manufactured for a perfect seal and ultra-high airflow during inflation.
Compared to the power transfer of the conventional square taper spindle, the 8-splined OCTALINK interface that connects the bottom bracket and crankset increases the strength and rigidity for the entire assembly. Shimano's Dura-Ace Bottom Bracket is perfect for Shimano's Dura-Ace crankset. It features durable composite construction, super-smooth sealed bearings and a plastic sleeve for additional protection.
Serfas' BP-100UL Shimano Compatible Road Pads offer reliable braking in all weather conditions. These replacement pads fit Serfas' BPS-100UL brake cartridges. Serfas' DBPS1 MTB Shimano Compatible Disc Pads offer long-lasting, reliable braking. They're semi-metallic for durability and are compatible with all current Shimano disc brakes.

Called them looking for a derailer hanger they said they had one for a qr not my thru axle. I went on calling shops. They called me back and had researched it after the call found the numbers were the same. I went in and they threw it on.. Was even polite and engaging when listening to me jabber. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Had a great curbside experience here. We were shopping for multiple items and the employees were so helpful bringing several options of each item out to the door for us to choose from. They assisted me in thinking through each item comparing products and making informed decisions. I would highly recommend!

I have bought a Giant mountain bike here and many others and they have last forever. I’ve had my mountain bike that is still running well for over 13 years now with zero issues. I also got my clip less pedals here and mountain bike shoes I use with my road bike. They have excellent customer service and always go the extra mile to help!

Throughout my six years in Tulsa, I have had a number of great experiences with Tom's Bicycles. I am looking forward to checking out their new location, but I definitely miss the convenience of Cherry Street. I find their pricing to be quite fair, and I have never had to wait for support or service. I would recommend Tom's to any level of cyclist from beginner to professional.

My son wanted a BMX bike for his 12th birthday, but I hadn't thought about a BMX bike since I was 12, so I asked around about where to buy a good one that would last into his 20s. Several people suggested a local bike shop, versus the large chains, and after I'd done my own research, my son and I walked into Tom's. I was on guard, ready to be dismissed as remarkably uncool and old, with only $300 to spend, and my experience couldn't have been more different. Someone greeted me as soon as I walked in, I said what I was looking for, and I was told I'd need to talk to the

Tom's service is top notch and Tom, the owner, is a fine guy. Open on Sunday until 5 PM makes this place even more convenient. The mechanics will do their best to get a flat repaired quickly and get you back on the road. I have been a customer for 7 years and will continue to do biz with Toms. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to Tom's since I was probably too small to even ride a bike. Since it's been awhile since I have had to buy a new bike I will say that my experience with them as an adult has been from their mechanic part of their store instead of retail.
They have great, kind and knowledgable people working behind the counter that will hunt down the right parts and work hard to get your bike working at it's best. They helped me with all three of my bikes, had a quick turn over and were decently cost.
They're not intimidating either. Sometimes going to a mechanics can

Awesome blossom place. My friend and I were looking for a place to rent bikes to take along the river in Tulsa, and this is the best place to rent because they are right next to the trail on the river (well, sort of - they are in a shopping center, but you could def. park your car and ride across the street to the trail). They also sell bikes as well and anything bike related you might need. We didn't end up renting because my booty needs a cruiser, and they don't rent out cruisers, BUT the guy (was it Tom?! I don't know) was SO nice and told us about the Tulsa Townies, these pink

So kind and helpful! I have a cheap Fuji bike that I bought for casual riding. The front brakes made a horrendous sound while braking. I took it to Midtown Bicycles, and they basically told me nothing could be done without even looking at the brakes or riding it to hear the sound. I felt like they weren't interested in helping because I didn't have a $4,000 bicycle. After trying to fix the problem myself and making it even worse, I looked up other bicycle shops and decided to try Tom's based on good reviews. I'm do glad I did! The service man who helped me tried several things, and the solution

Running is starting to take a toll on me and I'm ready for a change. Tom's is the perfect place to be inspired to hop on a bike not matter what your skill level is!
Colin needed a tune-up on his newly dusted off bike and I joined him in going to Tom's. The staff was so kind and unassuming. The bike culture in Tulsa is huge so I felt some self-induced insecurity but the welcome and comfortable atmosphere totally ripped that out.
Besides tuning up/ fixing bikes the store offers all kinds of bike gear and accessories for reasonable prices. Tons of race information is advertised well

Tom's is extremely knowledgeable. The prices are competitive but most of all which I think is the most important part, they don't insist that you buy things you shouldn't. I have found that with other shops both in Tulsa and out. They are a very relaxed group. They carry new and used bikes so if you have a bike you want to sell, take it to Tom's. I spent 14 years as a cyclist and would not recommend any other shop in Tulsa.
