At Edgewater Marine we know that service is one of the biggest considerations when you are buying or owning a boat or snowmobile. That's why we pride ourselves in offering you a first class service department. Headed by our friendly service manager, our service team is well prepared to handle your needs.
No matter how much experience you have, it's always a good idea for everyone to review boating safety rules before departures. Below you will find 10 basic boating safety tips to help you stay safe: Be Weather-Wise Always check local weather conditions before departure; TV and radio forecasts can be a good source of information.
Edgewater Marine offers first class rack storage for most boats up to 22 feet in length. Just call to get your boat put in the water when you need it and we'll take care of the rest. We'll put your boat in and supply you a dock for short term use. Then let us know when you're done and we'll put it away in our modern rack storage facility.
Edgewater Marine is a full service on the water marina, located on the east side of Castle Rock Lake, 10 miles north of 82 or 10 miles south of 21, on County Road Z, Friendship, WI. Edgewater Marine was founded in 1965 by Harold (Happy) Strand. Upon its conception the facility was comprised of a two car service garage with one long dock, one gas dock and twelve on the water pier slips.

The don’t answer the phone, they don’t call you back and apparently they are only open 4 days a week in the summer.
Oh, and they did such a terrible job that the boat broke down just 4 hours after being “repaired”.
If they claim that they don’t know who I am or haven’t had a chance to deal with it, note the first paragraph.

We are new boat owners looking for a lake and a seasonal slip for a pontoon. Called to ask about availability snd pricing and Got to talk to a rude woman who answered the phone. I don’t know why people are in a profession when they have to deal with the public but don’t want to be bothered !!!! I wouldn’t call this place again if you paid me!

Honestly would not recommend. This company caters to their Chicago customers and appears not to care less about the locals. In my opinion this is a poor business practice given the fact that they are trying to succeed in a very small town. Their prices are at least 20% higher than any competition, online or otherwise. They succeed by taking advantage of visitors who have no other option. I would be surprised if they were in business another year; if they are, it's only due to unfortunate circumstances of folks trying to enjoy their vacation.

We have a small cottage not far from Castle Rock Lake in Adams County WI. We took our modest decades-old fish and ski boat up there, but left it in the garage the first season because it hadn't been running reliably, we weren't sure who to trust for service and we were unfamiliar with navigating Castle Rock Lake. Our new neighbor (who is very knowledgeable about boats) suggested Edgewater Marine on county highway Z.
They really turned out to be a gem! Our boat has never run better, and the people at Edgewater Marine were really pleasant to work with! When I told them that I hadn't boated on CRL

We rented an electric boat on the 4th of July for two hours. It was so much fun! We wish we had a longer time slot!
We brought some chips, dip and wine.
It couldn't have been a better time!
Highly suggest renting a boat from mike. He's very kind and has a great company. We felt very welcomed.

Took my boat in because of gas leak last year. After $700 my boat motor was hard to start, but ran. Also flooded itself. Then steering cable broke so boat sat for rest of summer. Took it elsewhere this summer. Found out that when Edgewater replaced the floats in carburetor because of leak last year, they had ALL of the floats in backwards!!! Had to spend another $300 just to fix their mistake. Will never go there again. Very expensive for poor quality work.

My family has been storing and servicing our boat at Edgewater Marine for 23 years and have had nothing but excellent assistance. We own a 2009 Hurricane and had an issue the week before labor day and the employees bent over backwards to figure out the problem and repair it so we could use it for the weekend (which they were able to do!). While we only have a weekend cabin on the lake, I can say that we feel comfortable and confident turning to Edgewater if we have a problem with our boat. I would highly recommend this facility. A big thank you to the gang at Edgewater from the Niewiadomskis!

Edgewater Marine has gone downhill. We stored our boat with them over the winter and when we picked it up it was clear that the boat was neglected. There was so much damage done and we now need to get a new cover and a new cushion. When we went in to Edgewater, we were given the run around and told they oversold their storage and had to sub contract it out and they would not take any responsibility. When we asked for who they gave our boat too, they gave us a non working number and then a number that we were told is the wrong number. When I called again, they simply want to blame us for the damage
