Two years ago I went there and bought oil, lower unit gear lube, and filter to winterize my Merc 150. Curt (owner) said (in a sarcastic tone) "if I would have brought it in to be winterized you wouldn't have to do it." So last fall I took it in. Picked it up and parked it in the my storage building for the winter. Went out two weeks ago to plug in the batteries. There was a puddle of oil under the motor. Bottom plug on lower unit was leaking. Zerts fittings had globs of grease on them. Never wiped off after greasing. The motor cowling had a rub mark on it from poor handling. This may buff out.

We bought our first pontoon boat,hell our first boat ever with Evenson's. The owners were great to deal with and very knowledgeable. They explained what all of the options were and figured out what would best for what we needed. There was not up selling or pressure at all. In fact they talked us down from paying for more motor than what we thought we wanted or needed. The boat was delivered when we were told it would be walked us through operation and tips and even recommended some modifications to make getting into the lift for us from the factory set up. Evensons has been easy to do business with. Both with repairs and in the purchase of a new boat. Good knowledgeable people, honest reliable repair and sales.

They were excellent and answered all of my questions even though I didn't buy anything. Helped me out repairing my boat with information and spent over a 1/2 hour answering questions. Saved me hours of time and money.

After having our boat winterized here, we've had nothing but problems this summer. I have to wonder if they were looking for future service...
Update: we had our boat in to be serviced after the lower end went out. After showing our mechanic the paper work of all the work that went into it the season before at the institute in MN, and looking at the motor, he suggested that it wasn't winterized properly. I will say: I have no proof. However, I truly believe Evenson's did something to sabotage our motor. Oil was drained where it wasn't supposed to be ( my mechanic explained it, these are my laymens

Very professional and courteous people. I would highly recommend them for all your RV Parts service sales & repair. I had 2 blowout on my trailer and had it towed Walmart in Janesville WI. This happened at 1 a.m. thinking that Walmart would have a set of tires for my trailer not knowing I tore up a Rim also. Walmart did not have the tires and could not get them for 3 days. Had to leave my trailer there drove 150 miles north to my home went to Evenson's Marina they were able to Supply me with 2 brand new tires and a new rim for a great price

Once again, a great place to have your toys services and to add more toys to the collection. A real Mom and Pop business (Loren, the father started the business). I've visited the large Mega-Stores and to be honest, it's very impressive to see dozens of boats on the floor and more color choices than one can imagine. Being a small Mom and Pop shop that isn't their forte. Their forte is knowing their product and being able to answer questions ranging from the most basic ones to the extremely technical.
