Dr. Jeffery Chantry opened our practice in 1994 as an office where the whole family could receive top-quality dentistry in a friendly and caring environment. He also wanted to provide his patients with leading- edge, start-to-finish solutions for all their dental needs. He has trained extensively in a comprehensive array of advanced procedures so he can effectively handle most any dental concern in the comfort of our office.
Our doctors use many of the latest advancements in technology for accurate diagnosis, precise treatment planning and minimally invasive, comfortable treatment. Our digital X-rays emit very little radiation and produce highly-detailed images in seconds. Panoramic X-Rays create a complete two-dimensional image of your entire mouth and clearly display your teeth, sinuses, jawbone and other structures.

I went to Dr. Chantry for a loose crown. Unbeknownst to me, the tooth under the crown was absessed. He pulled off the crown and broke the tooth off. Instead of offering me any other options, like to just prescribe antibiotics for the infection and put a new crown on, I am not without a tooth because he extracted what was left and I now need an implant. Not happy at all. My worst nightmare has come true. On top of that, I have to call the office lady because they told me that extractions weren't covered and they are, so they owe me $300.00. I don't know about the rest of the billing

Dr. Chantry is a nightmare! Having relocated to Elk Grove and, unfortunately, not knowing any better I went to Dr. Chantry. Not only did I end up spending an obscene amount of money, but the work was horrible.
He pulled a tooth and told me I needed an implant. I was in the chair and the tooth had been pulled when he asks his asst. if she had me sign the waivers. (My husband hearing this goes a bit nuts.) As it turned out he drilled into the sinus cavity and I had terrible pain with the implant for so many years that I eventually had to spend a few

I called on Thursday to schedule a cleaning. During that call I mentioned that the last time my teeth were cleaned I needed a deep cleaning, and want sure what that would cost. They called me Friday and confirmed my appointment, then text me over the weekend to confirm as though my verbal confirmation wasn't enough. I absolutely despise going to the dentist. But I needed an emergency dental procedure done and it went amazing. I jus had my first deep cleaning in 10 years ((ya I really don't like going to the dentist)). And Angie my hygienist for the day was so thoughtful and caring for my comfort. That I can honestly say that I hate going to the dentist jus a… little bit less now. She's amazing. And truth of the matter is I'm sure every one in the office has amazing bedside manner. But Angie by far gave me the kind of experience where im not afraid to go to the dentist anymore. So thank you so much!

Everyone there is really nice. But the only problem you will find is that there is lack of communication between the receptionist and the Doctor. The front tell you that you owe 500.00 and that we are only doing two teeth and then without them asking you first they do a third tooth and charge you out at the end for $750. I have called the office two time to confirm which teeth they were going to complete on the left side they told me two. I show up to the appointment and they charge me for three teeth. I did not plan on them doing the third tooth. Also I would definitely agree with the previous

By far the best dentist office I've ever been too. Dr. Chantry was very kind and professional. I had a root canal and a crown done and they made it as pleasant as possible! Christina was the assistant that helped with the procedure and was excellent! The office is very nice and welcoming. Will recommend!

As a dentist, Dr Chantry is fine. The problem I had was the high prices and the insurance. I asked if they accepted my insurance. They assured me they did and quoted prices for services. I paid the amount that was my portion. Later I received bills from the insurance that they were covering only a portion of the cost. I asked the dental office about the charges and they told me not to worry. I had a cleaning and they offered to do a cancer screening and assured me the insurance would cover half. I had the screening and it came back as positive. They told me to come back in a few weeks for a follow

This review is for people that do not have Dental Insurance, and paying out of pocket. I had a crown come loose and fall off, I wanted an estimate of cost. They do not give any cost info, you have to go in for a " free consultation". After the required paper work, I was told they would do full mouth xrays. I once again explained, just one tooth issue. I did not allow them to xray the one tooth (required because there might be issues), of course I understand that. But I had to insist on a ballpark estimate of the cost involved BEFORE starting any procedures! Everyone has a right

I switched dentists a few years back to chantry dental in Elk Grove, Ca. My experience with them since I changed has been nothing but perfect. Dr. Chantry has been a wonderful dentist from the time I have been there and I will continue to use his dentistry for years too come. If you want a dentist who is honest and really cares about your health of your teeth this is your dentist. I made a yelp just to leave a review for them because they Definetely deserve a 5 star rating.

I've always wondered why people were afraid of the dentist until I visited Dr. Chantry. He is, by far, the worst dentist I've ever been to. After getting 3 fillings next to each other, I discovered they had fused together so I couldn't floss. (later found out this was because he filled them wrong) When I came back in to address the problem, he had me sit down, then grabbed a small bare saw blade and proceeded to saw back & forth through the fillings between my teeth, like he was flossing with a saw. the ends of the blade whipped around with each pass, slicing my face, lips and
