Gum disease, also known as periodontal disease, is a bacterial infection of the gums and tissues that support your teeth. There are two major stages of periodontal disease: gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis affects only the gums. It is a mild form of gum disease, and if properly treated, may be reversed.

Silver Fillings known as Amalgam, have been around for decades. Made from a metal alloy, it was the best restoration for fillings. The metal expands and contracts with the heat and cold placed in the mouth. This allowed for little bacteria to enter a tooth once filled; keeping the tooth healthy and strong.
Our Wellness Plan is not dental insurance - it is a Specialized Dental Plan provided by Luc Dental Care. This plan offers discounts on multiple specialized dental services to its members. The Wellness Plan is only $299 with a $60 activation fee per person, for the first year and is valid for an entire year!

Took my son in for a check up. They scheduled it and the receptionist told me he would have xrays done. I took time off work to take him and when we got there the dentist looked at my son's teeth for 2-3 minutes and then told me she didn't work on kids and that I needed a referral to a pediatric dentist. I think she made me schedule the appointment so she could charge me for it instead of just referring me when I called initially because I was very upfront about it being for a child and they still had me fill out paperwork when we got there and they saw it was a child. My family went here for years and always had the best experiences. After several appointments for a partial, including extraction and making a temporary partial I am told Dr. Luc isn't "doing" this service any longer, and has her front receptionist send me a contact for another doctor in Sacramento. No exceptions, even though I had a scheduled appointment and we are 2/3 of the way finished. With over a year's worth of appointments during or lack of appointments due to Covid. She would not finish my procedure. Insanely unprofessional and heartless that she would not finish what

I had a great experience with Dr. Luc when I went in for my first cleaning. We discussed some future work I was looking to have done and that was it.
Recently, I've been trying to set up an appointment and I get no response to emails or web inquiries. I even went to the office and it was all locked up. I left a final message asking if they were still in business and if they still wanted my business to which I've received no reply. Now I have to unexpectedly search for a new dentist which is not high on my favorites list.

I normally don’t write reviews, but feel like Dr Luc deserves the acknowledgement! The front desk staff were very helpful and professional. And Dr Luc was amazing. My teeth felt amazing after the cleaning and I had a great time taking to her. I was very impressed with the Dentist office, I’ve couldn’t stop bragging about her and sent my co-worker to go see her also!

Oh my goodness I have had some horrible luck with dentist. My last dentist got fired, for being horrible and the one prior assured me that "his wife also thought she had dental problems" in the most condescending way. I took a chance and tried Luc. Great friendly staff and the experience could not have been more painless and comfortable. If you have dental phobia or just nervous, come here they will take care of you

I took my mom in to see Dr Luc and I couldn't have been any happier. She listened to all of my mom's concerns and addressed each one. Dr Luc told us what she was going to feel afterwards which helped me reassure my mom even when she was in doubt. My mom hasn't complained about her teeth since going in for her appt. That might not seem like a lot but you don't know my mom. It never happens! Dr Luc saved my ears as well as my moms teeth. Jk. I love my mom. I do. Really. Thank you Dr Luc!!

I've been going to Dr. Luc for 5-7 years and she's been great ever since. I even left her office to go to a brother's friend's place and after one visit over there, I went back to Dr. Luc. Dr. Luc is great, she explains everything so well and is very personable and professional. Even her staff, Pramita is super nice and awesome. I should have written a review many years ago but was too lazy. Planning on Yelping more and decided to start here. I highly recommend Dr. Luc. I believe she has another office opened in the Elk Grove area as well.

We've relocated outside the area twice and found ourselves more than willing to drive back to see her.
Had an emergent visit and saw a new dentist in the area we currently live in (5 hrs away) only to find that some are simply in it to make $$$. Asked for a 2nd opinion with Dr. Luc who was more than willing to review X-rays from a distance, only to find out that services suggested are simply unnecessary.
Worth the driving distance to see her and will continue to do so as
