Don't waste your time or gas driving to this place. Went by today after 11:00, during their posted business hours, and rang the door bell. I was buzzed inside, where there is a security cage. A woman inside asked, " Can I help you?" I replied that I was there to buy commemorative coins and medals and showed her a reference book that I had brought. She told me," The store is not open today, as an employee was on vacation and she was working on her taxes". I asked when would the store be open? She said, "Not for the foreseeable future, but I could try to call the

About 2 years ago I bought over $2000 in eagles, rounds and bars from this shop. I subsequently brought two other friends who bought a substantial amount also. It had been some time since I had been here, so I came back the second time, I stepped in and re‐acquainted myself with the staff but I think they forgot, I had purchased from them. This time around I was browsing and I only had a few hundred to spend. So the level of interest and service just wasn't there. The third time I came they didn't even bother to get up and help me. I think they felt I was a low budget customer so maybe I wasn

Approximately 4 or 5 weeks ago I walked into Covina Coin and Jewelry.
I was looking for specific peices, and Tracy helped me with a verry nice Graded Gold peice.
I explained to her that all coins I'm collecting is my daughters future inheritance. Tracy said in that case I'm more then happy to help you.
We came to a verry fair price, along with a few items Inhad for trade a lil calculation and Tracy was able to give me my asking price on the items. I was verry happy with my peice I picked out and my whole transaction.
Tacy was able to make some money it worked out good for the both of us.

The guy was extremely rude and he gave me my gold coin in a totally different box. It would have been worth more if it had been in its own box but for some mysterious reason they gave me a box for another coin. If I had known better I wouldn't have accepted it but at that time I didn't know any better so I took it.

This guy is terrible. Rude and condescending. He is also not honest. He took our large amount of money to buy gold and took 2 years to deliver the promised gold.

Reasonable prices-Spot and decent premium for 5oz silver bar, customer service was so so, didn’t seem like the young man cared to do more business on other pieces of precious metals, overall transaction was good.

Not sure why this man decided to be so rude to me when I brought in some coins for sale. Personally, I think it's more professional for a dealer to say "sorry, I'm not interested", or "I would only be able to offer a very low wholesale price", than make an offer so low that it can only be viewed as insulting to any informed collector or investor. I had bought and sold coins here before but not this time or ever again.

Worst and most overpriced coin shop I have ever been to in all the 11 years I've been collecting. On top of it they actually lied to me about pricing to get me in the shop. Horrible business and extremely overpriced. $39.50 for a 2012 american eagle when any other shop is close to $33 or less even.

If you have coins to sell, go somewhere else. The reason they stay in business is because they buy lower than the collectible value of the coin and then sell higher than the collectible value. I stay away. They treat everyone selling like you’re desperate to sell...

Be wary of this place. Read the reviews. Once you enter the store, you are either hit with Big Lee's screaming, or David's bad attitude. If you visit dealers all over the area, they all have the same horror stories about dealing with the owner! Nobody likes to be leered at- or wants a bad attitude when entering a business to either make a purchase/ sell an item. Avoid

I was looking to buy 2000 MILLENNIUM SETS. Called the stored number. Talked to "BIG LEE". He was rudely screaming into the phone the entire conversation. Said he would check his inventory to see. I called back a couple days later , he answered that he wanted $100 each , the entire time rudely screaming at me into the phone. Tried to negotiate the price, he continued to yell at me how much he wanted for the sets. Price was was to high. I finally just said screw it. Do not know how this place stays in business . Worst case of unprofessionalism ever. STAY AWAY !! Lee is a complete basket case !!!

I called to inquire about selling some of my coins and I spoke with Tracy whom was more than helpful explaining the process. She was so pleasant and answered all 20 questions I had about the process. Thank you so much Tracy and I look forward to our transaction.

Came in with my fiance to check a few things out, ultimately buying some things. The old man was patient in answering my questions and i wouldn't hold it against him had he not.
Younger dude named Nick seems to be a chill guy but gets straight to the point and if that offends you, tbh it shouldn't, since at least it's honest. Cool little family business and hope to come back soon.

My first time going to a local coin shop so pretty nerve racking at most especially going so early in the morning. I was greeted by two young guys who looked serious and bored and I can understand why there will be reviews here of how the lack of social skills. Probably a family business and they were asked to watch the shop (I'm young so I know how that feels) The guy that talked to me was pretty knowledgeable about their stuff as he tried to help someone on the phone while I was looking around.

I came back the next day to buy gifts and a lady (I think the owner) was the one who sold me

I made a post earlier and wanted to take it down. Only because I dont want to spread negativity. The place gave me fair market value I guess. It's just that I wish these kinds of places would not make assumptions that arnt true. And make extra comments that dont need to be made. Let's just make the exchange kindly. That's all.

Avoid. Leroy and David, as mentioned in multiple reviews have very little tolerance and lack people skills. Nice shop, great inventory, but why put up with such attitude? A shame. Spend your money at the Long Beach Expo, head to Alhambra Coin or Coops Coins in Redlands. Many dealers in the area share the same sentiments; dealing with those two men is no walk through the park. Avoid.

A traditional "Mom and Pop" coin shop! They've been at this location for 25 years now, so they must be doing something right. If you're looking to sell old coins, go in with an open mind. A coin that you looked up on the internet, doesn't mean that's what it's worth! Everything has to do with mintage (date and mint-mark), and condition! If you want to buy or sell bullion, they are the best in the San Gabriel Valley for inventory and pricing!

I read the previous reviews and was prepared for not friendly or bad service and, was pleasantly surprised. I am a new coin collector and David spent all the time I wanted, to get me the coin I was looking for plus gave me some tips on what to look for.

I found them friendly and fair. I will go back for my coin needs as it was a great first impression.

After reading all the bad reviews, I was ready to face the troll that lives under the bridge for some poured bullion.

I called twice and asked if they had any poured silver bullion, both times the women told me that they did have poured bullion.

I drove about a half hour to get there only to be shown two stamped bars, I was f%king furious! I started turning green and my shorts became purple, just then a woman named Tracy stepped in to save the day.

She said that since the women didn't know what I was asking for, she would get a few bars from her stash to sell me.

She ended up selling
