This is especially important with homes more than 30 years old. Similar to lead paint, the older the home, the higher the likelihood it exists on your property.
Lead based paint has been banned since 1978. It is estimated that over 75% of pre-1978 dwellings contain lead paint. The older the home the more likely. It has been reported that 9 out of 10 homes in some New Jersey towns contain lead paint. Lead paint, dust or chips can be especially harmful to children and pregnant mothers.

Update: I am a real person, I spoke with Dave this morning. I am not a competitor, just a new home owner looking for some guidance. When I try to explain my situation to Dave, he had a bad attitude from the beginning. He quickly escalated the call and started yelling at me saying that he would not help me and just hung up on me. If this is how you would act with a potential customer, I cannot imagine actually working with this company. Dave's bedside manner is a clear indication of how he runs his business. I will not be utilizing your services.

Like many first time home buyers, I was a nervous wreck. Luckily for me, I had Dave Polo do my pool inspection. I had a million and one questions about the maintenance of the pool, its current condition, and how each item worked but that didn’t phase Dave. Dave thoroughly answered each and every question. He even gave me advice on how to properly maintain the pool. The pool inspection report which I received the next morning was detailed with pictures showing his findings. David performed a full home inspection for us. Setting up an appointment and communication with him was very easy and hassle-free. As first time home buyers, we didn't know much about the process and what to expect, but David was very professional and thorough. Not only did he do his job very well, but made sure it was an educational experience for us. He left no stone unturned and we felt very confident in his abilities. We used Dave to do our home inspection for a house we were purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out many things here and there that we could benefit from fixing. Although I took notes throughout the inspection, Dave provides a very detailed report that we can reference. On top of everything, he was very responsive and attentive with communication and was able to conduct our inspection with short notice. Would definitely recommend Dave for your inspection needs.

David was very thorough in his inspection. As a first time homeowner, also moving out on my own, his services were valuable to me. Not only did he take his time to make sure every inch of the home was inspected, he also taught me how to maintenance the home and what to look out for in certain scenarios. Definitely a great value for your money. He is very knowledgeable, and gave timely responses when I drafted my repair request list to sellers. His services extend beyond the inspection, would hire him again in the future.
