Services
The mission of the Idaho High School Activities Association is to coordinate, supervise, and direct interscholastic activities which enhance and protect the total educational process of all student participants. All activities and programs shall be formulated to promote citizenship and the academic mission of the school.
The SAC is a diverse group of students who participate in interscholastic athletics/activities and are focused on providing education and leadership through open and honest communication with all member school students, administrators and coaches. The committee serves as a liaison between students, administrators, the IHSAA Staff and Board of Directors.
As things change each day, know that the IMEA leadership is in continual communication about how best to serve our members during this time. With the cancellation of athletics and activities by the IHSAA, numerous administrators have canceled further solo/ensemble festivals and will not allow their students to record/submit videos for district or State Solo festival, and many have canceled all travel for the remainder of the school year.
Becoming a IHSAA Certified Official can be accomplished by completing the 4 Steps described below. If you have any questions about the process, you are welcome to contact us. Officials are required to attend a State Rules Clinic for the sport they are participating in. Officials are required to take the Part I or Part II Exam administered online through the NFHS.

Definitely ranked near the bottom of the 50 or so athletic associations in the USA. Were not helpful at all in providing some simple information I was looking for. Communicates a very elitist, snobbish, stand offish attitude as well.

I’ve worked closely with Ty Jones, IHSAA President in the past. I received nothing but respect and listening ears. Although we were dealing with a intense situation Mr Jones was very open minded and allowed myself to vent! I appreciate that he had an open communication policy!
IHSAA has done an incredible job! I wish them continued success with our students athletes in Idaho!
