Idaho Connects Online School, or ICON for short (formerly known as Kaplan Academy of Idaho), encompasses all Idaho students (grades 6th-12th), with educators and administrators committed to continuing the high standards that students and parents have come to expect. ICON School utilizes the online curriculum provider, ODYSSEYWARE, and offers course credit recovery classes for a curriculum that is more customizable to the needs of Idaho students.

Services
Students can log onto ICON School 24/7, attend virtual school sessions with teachers and other Idaho students, and work within a schedule that meets their needs. Students are expected to adhere to ICON attendance requirements and participate in state testing. Fully enrolled online students are given access to a quality curriculum, a loaner laptop, and highly qualified Idaho teachers to guide them through their educational experience.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2020-21 school year, and it's never been easier to apply. The enrollment packet will outline all the paperwork needed to enroll with ICON School.
ICON serves a variety of middle school and high school student populations throughout Idaho. ICON is a FREE online alternative school choice for ANY student in Idaho in grades 6-12, through the age of 21. Because ICON is a public school, credits transfer to and from any other Idaho middle school or high school.
Online high school is a popular choice among high school students who want to complete their high school education in less time than the traditional public school track accommodates. Or maybe you just really struggle with the traditional high school model, and you are ready to move on to the next stage in your educational journey.
