Being new to the Sykesville area I received a card/letter from Dr. Thompson and decided to give him a try. I was very pleased with his professional conduct - he pays very close attention to his clients needs and is also understanding with the high cost of dental care. Both of my sons also enjoyed going to him.
We provide general dentistry services to people of all ages including: preventative care, cleanings, oral cancer screenings, white fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, extractions, periodontal therapy, dentures, bleaching, sealants, and dentistry for children. This sweet patient had been wanting to fix her smile for years! Now, with the kids out of college and on their own, it is time for mom to do something for herself. This 16 year old girl was involved in a traumatic accident when younger and her front two teeth stopped developing and fused to the bone.
If you have ever had an ulcer or cold sore, you know that it is 7 days of pain before it finally heals. Our laser can help reduce or eliminate the pain of these when caught early! And soft tissue surgeries and biopsies can be done with no bleeding, reduced post op pain and a quicker healing time. We have the latest digital technology for taking x-rays.

Dr. Thompson and his staff are all amazing! The front desk staff are all very friendly and personable both in the phone and in person. And both Dr. Thompson and his hygienists do a great job at explaining everything they are doing and making you feel at ease. I am a child when it comes to the dentist. It is by far the most stressful doctors appointment for me and Dr. Thompson has done a great job at helping me relax and keeping me informed. Our while family goes to Dr. Thompson and he and his staff have done great with the kids.

I recently went to Dr. Thompson with a dental problem that I was unable to resolve with my former dental practice. Frustrated by the lack of concern from my former dentist and the discomfort of the problem itself, I was met with understanding, kindness, compassion and an immediate plan to resolve my discomfort. We always hesitate going to the Dentist. I was referred here by a friend of mine. Once I walked in I felt relaxed. It's super clean, and feels like a spa. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Dr. Thompson was the first dentist to recommend upgrading my smile. He was able to correct past work done to my teeth and fixed a discoloration on my front tooth. And most of all, the Doc is good looken so what more could you ask for, besides a chair side manicure.

My whole family goes to Dr. Thompson. The office is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Thompson is warm and friendly and very thorough in his work. He also has a great sense of humor, which is a plus when your mouth is full of cleaning equipment! I highly recommend Dr. Thompson. The 30 minute trip from Westminster is well worth it to get such high-quality dental care.

Dr. Thompson is a wonderful dentist! My dental experience was fantastic. The décor around the office was soothing, relaxing and pleasant. Office staff was delightful to work with, and I didn't have to wait long. Dr. Thompson is congenial, funny and down to earth... All things you would want if you were coming to get your teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know! Great job, A+!
