When Ken Jones opened his first ski shop in 1968 he had a passion for two things: Skiing and providing Excellent Customer Service. That tradition lives on today, nearly 50 years and three generations of Jones' later. Have an issue that needs to be resolved? No worries! If I could chose no stars I would have. This place has the rudest workers and is horrible. This is our first season with snow as we just moved here so everything was new to us. We reserved skis for my son and daughter. They called and said they didn't have any for my son but that they had some for my daughter. It was fine we would just go find my sons someplace else. I drive there and I'm welcomed by a rude man in the rental shop who said we don't have any skis for her. I said but we reserved them. They called and said they didn't have any for my son. Dylan Jones Hall is at the helm of this awful business and he represents everything that is rotten and disgusting with the world. The condescending and entitled floor staff are enabled by the ownership to treat customers like garbage. After 20+ years of patronage to this family it's Dylan that has brought this to the point where I will never choose to do business with these people. Good riddance.

They are top notch! Been buying here for over 20 years. Always great helpful staff. Bought a new pair of skis and even though I didn’t buy my bindings and boots here they still mounted the bindings and heat molded my boots for me. Staff is always knowledgeable and great to deal with. They also always have a great selection of stuff.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I stood around looking at skis for almost an hour and was treated like I was invisible. Everyone around me who showed up after me was getting the "How you folks doing? Can I help you with anything?" Talking to them 15-20 minutes by numerous employees but I got nothing. Even after the other people left, the employees were standing around joking back and forth while still ignoring me. Too bad because I was ready to drop several hundred dollars down on some skis. It looks like they have more employees than customers. They are really terrible here. I get

About 6 weeks ago my 15 year old granddaughter stopped in at Ken Jones to see their selection of ski jackets, she saw a few she liked and said she’d start saving to buy one she liked. Well, in came Grammy & Grandpa, knowing she was a straight A student, we told her if the next one was all A’s also, we’d buy her the jacket of her choice. We went in to the store together and she saw 2 she really liked. Not being an outdoor type of guy, I sought advice from a young lady clerk about what to look for in a good jacket. She was honest enough to tell me that the one that was $100 less was as good

If you're looking for friendly helpful people, this isn't the place. I just went in to buy some new ski boots because they had good prices on their website. As soon as an employee walks up to me, he was immediately rude. I asked if I could be fitted for boots and he said "what do you mean? I don't want to waste my time trying to get you the right size and then you go and buy them online". He continued to be rude and showed absolutely no customer service skills. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable in a wide range of disciplines. I didn't have much of an idea of the specifics, I just knew the style of skiing I was looking for and the staff was able to educate me on what would work best for my needs and styles. I go to local shops like this one because I hope for a 1 on 1 experience with pros and that's what you get here. Would highly recommend.

Used to shop here a lot as a kid and 15 years later decided to buy ski boots here. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and I took his lead as he fitted me for a nice set of boots. His expertise created an efficient and informed shopping experience. Learned a lot about the different models and feel confident in my purchase of Salomon s/max 120s. Prices seem to be standard msrp however the service is totally worth it to make sure one buys the right product for her or himself. They also mounted my bindings on my skis (purchased from a different store) within 10 minutes of purchasing the boots since

Stopped in on way back from the slopes, killing time and shopping the sales. They have a great selection of better brand gear and clothing.
Their prices are on the higher end of the range but retail space isn't cheap and they're were at least 6 or 7 people in the store to help. Can't get that online.
Found a great Obermeyer Jacket after Allison spent a good 15 minutes helping me find the right coat in the right size. She was great and new her product lines.
She gave me a little extra discount on it as well. Sure I probably could have ordered it from a website for a few bucks less

Bought 2 pair of skis in the same week due to the awesome friendly staff. The first pair was for my daughter who just started skiing this year, it was last minute on a Saturday night before they closed. I called to see if they would have anything in stock since it would be such a small size and they said yes come in anytime. We arrived and they showed us all the options, fit her with the perfect boots all for an amazing price. She was amped with her new gear and the staff was just as excited for her, it was great.

Dylan and his team were great and helped me get a nice comfortable boots for a reasonable price.
I would have given a FIVE STAR to this place if it was not for my experience with the lady(middle aged blonde lady) at the register.
When I came back to pick up my skis and boots and politely approached her to ask her where to go to pick up my skis. She was flat out unprofessional, condensending and rude. She did even finish my sentence. She asked me to pay for tuning fee again even though I had already paid and interrupted me mid sentence again with a rude unprofessional remark when I was explaining

I have been looking for backcountry skis for over 2 years. Mostly on the web but really wanted to touch and feel before I buy.
While visiting my daughter I wondered into Ken Jones Ski Mart. Wow! So many choices! Dylan helped me to select a boot binding and a ski for the conditions I mostly ski. After just over an hour I was out the door with everything I needed. Looking at the size of this store I am sure they get busy. My advice be patient it'll be worth the wait.
I skied on the set up today and I am very happy with my set up.

My girlfriend and I went the other day for information on equipment for the upcoming season. We received absolutely stellar service. My expectations were blown away by there level of knowledge and attention to detail. I went back this morning to look at googles gloves and a helmet and again was blown away. Joe and Eddie in the snowboard shop are true assets to the company. We look forward to doing more business in the future.

I have had sales staff ridicule me for purchasing a ski model they did not carry nor would they order it even though they carry the brand of ski because as the sales person said they did not like the ski so they will not order it, yet the ski was well received in reviews. To order and sell or not sell a particular ski is their choice as a business I can deal with that and to not even want to order it for a customer just 'because' they do not personally like

Great place! Family owned. Staff is extremely knowledgable and personable. Prices are competitive. Large selection. Tuning staff are also great. They have decent prices and they are willing to get your gear tuned fast if you're in a hurry. They also are willing to work with you on price if you saw the gear cheaper someplace else locally.

Great all around ski shop.
Biggest selection I've found in NH - decent prices, awesome staff and great sales.
Good price on tune ups and fast turn around if you are in a hurry.
Snowboard Jones - snowboard shop downstairs for the single plankers in the family.
The only thing that would make this shop better would be a shop dog to greet customers. (everyone loves a ski shop with a dog right?)
