The current state of the veterinary industry is such that veterinarians, and veterinary staff are in high demand, accompanied by very limited supply. This is affecting all parts of the industry, from small general practitioners, like our practice, to emergency clinics and specialty practices. The pandemic, with the necessity of curbside service, has created additional work and stress for our staff.
This has now affected our clinic in that we are currently working with very limited staffing. We continue to be dedicated to providing high quality veterinary care to our clients and their pets, but find it necessary to decrease our hours, and some of our services, to not only help alleviate stress on our remaining staff, but also to ensure that we are able to safely provide our high level of care for your pets.

North County Veterinary Clinic, Inc. was started in 1991 after Dr. Morrissey, D.V.M. bought the veterinary business from Dr. Donald Peck, V.M.D. At that time the clinic was located just down the road at 741 Bernardston Rd. in Greenfield. Needing a bit more space, the current building was remodeled and the business moved to its new location in 2002.

The staff and Veterinary Team at North County Veterinary Clinic are absolutely phenomenal to say the least! We have been bringing our puppy (now 1 and a half year old, they grow WAY too quickly!) since the week we got her. Not only do they take the Veterinary care of your animal seriously, but they are kind and compassionate while doing it! All animals are loved and treated equally here! My fiance grew up bringing his dogs here and the care was always top notch. Dr. Morrisey even prevented the loss of his childhood dog, which may not have happened if he had had his what seemed to be simple neutering

I can't thank Dr. Knight enough for the professional way he dealt with my 18 1/2 year old cat this morning! I am so very pleased! He explained things very clearly and was very understanding and thorough!
At first, I was disappointed to find Dr. Morrissey was not there, but I believe my elderly cat and I were in very capable hands! Thank you!!! :)
