Lack of attention 2 detail on their part when conducting handoff of my case between their own in-house associates. I constantly had to correct the facts whenever a different associate picked up the case. The disposition of assets between parties in the final decree was exactly the same as when i first submitted them. Yet each new representative sent me a decree that did not reflect our wishes resulting in delays and additional fees i had to pay for their lack of attention to detail. Unacceptable.

Absolute worst. Her negligence as an attorney is costing me time and money. She curated a Special Warranty/Quit Claim Deed removing my spouse from title during the divorce process, fast forward 8 months later county rejects due to spelling issues. When I called to notify the law office they made the correction but was like “yeah you and your ex will have to resign, and refile this”. Someone who I haven’t talked to for 8 months, and hired lawyers for that reason.
I had to push them to make contact with my ex as it was their negligence. 2 weeks later, have received zero call back, or completion

I hired Ms. Xochitl A. Ambriz because I needed an attorney for a custody case. I was nervous since I had had a really bad experience with a previous attorney who ruined my case and did nothing but destroy my case and my chances at a fair outcome.

Please avoid this person at all costs. The office is lazy, will take advantage of you, & most of all will take your money when they are doing no work. I had this office represent me for over a year & came to findout that I was being taken advantage of. They filled paperwork late & I am still trying to clean up their negligence years later. They will also mistreat you as a client after they receive payment from you. They will lie to you & lead you on to take more money from you while not putting forward efforts to protect you. PLEASE do yourself a favor & avoid this office like the plague!

Such a bad experience was supposedly divorced in 2013 only to find out she (the lawyer)never filed with the courts so now 2020 find out I was still married even after I paid my $1800 to her. As a result of that my home had a lien from the IRS which was an unpaid debt my “ex husband “ had but since the lawyer never filed it the IRS was able to put that lien on my home. Don’t waste your time.

Called and made an appointment..... they were suppose to email me documents to fill out before my appointment, never got them until the morning of my appointment. Then they moved my appointment to later that day, then called me that she couldn’t meet with me that day and they had already charged my card for the consultation. You would think being a first time client and after you give them all the info they need you would be treated better.

This woman did not help my sister with her case at all. With her and her firm, it's all about money. It has nothing to do with the well being of the kids. Family Law is so corrupt it's not even funny. Mrs. Ambriz, I hope you are happy with your lack of participation on my sisters case. And just so you know, my nephew is extremely unhappy with his father I just hope he doesn't go into some kind of depression thanks to you and your firm.

Not very professional at all took our time and money for 2yrs. Set us up with the opposing lawyer and took his side. She prolong the case to keep taking our money. Her staff or upcoming lawyers were trying their best to help but with her bad leadership and misguidance they had their hands tied up. My recommendation is to stay away from her and find a better attorney, I understand they deal with alot of cases and situations but we are giving them our hard earned money for them just to take it. She is not compassionate or even tries to understand you at all, any job is about making human relationships

DO NOT RETAIN HER FOR ANYTHING - She is a terrible lawyer. She allowed a client to lose custody of her child because she dared to take his father to court for child support after years of not receiving anything from him for their boys. The judge's solution was to separate the kids and send one of the boys to live with his father so that neither parent pays child support - she sat there and did nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called and explained that I was trying to collect child support from out of state and was told as long as the children reside in el paso county they could help. Went and filled out a bunch of paperwork. Paid the $100 fee explained my story and was told I needed to get an attorney from the other state. Thanks for taking a military families money knowing you couldn't help in the first place! Don't go to her if you have an out of state child support case. They will say they can help, take your money, and then tell you they can't!

Very rude personnel, I called to ask a question I spoke with three different people, and each time they put me on hold for several minutes, finally when I spoke with Melissa she was rude, coarse, with no manners, I asked for an appointment for a certain day and in a very rude manner she said the lawyer doesn't have any time without giving another… option, she said regardless the matter the appointment will be $100.00. if this is an indicative of how they treat the customers I'm glad they let me know, it is hard enough to deal with an issue to also have to deal with rude and careless persons
