A good contact lens fit starts with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and rule out any pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.
Early detection, through regular and complete eye exams, is the key to protecting your vision from damage caused by glaucoma. A complete eye exam includes five common tests to detect glaucoma. Glaucoma is an eye disease that causes damage to your optic nerve. As soon as I walked into the office the receptionist we're very polite and very helpful, the place was extremely clean and enough room to sit down, comfortable chairs, room to sit down, I don't remember the doctors that I had that day, but she was very knowledgeable and very helpful and maid me comfortable gave me different options and to top it off she was very pretty, I would recommend this place to all my friends..

I have been going to Golden Eye for over 10+ years now. Dr. Sava is wonderful, she takes her time and makes sure you feel comfortable with the prescription she gives you. I have gotten contacts and glasses and have never had an issue. I will keep continuing to coming to Golden Eye as long as Dr. Sava is there.

My wife and I both had eye exams yesterday. Dr. Sava found cataracts in my wife's eyes. We were impressed with the entire staff. They are friendly, professional, and very helpful. This is the place for accurate exams and proper help with whatever anyone needs for their eyes. Five out of five stars. Golden Eye is the best.

Absolutely Amazing and HIGHLY Recommend!!! From the staff to the eye doctor, everyone in the office was very nice, caring and professional.

Our wait to be seen wasn't long at all, from our arrival to getting checked in, examination, eyewear/ contact fitting and checked out, for the both of us we were there maybe 90 mins, it was very streamline and little to no waiting in between different procedures.

I love this Optometry. The staff is welcoming once you arrive to check in. I've been a patient for about 6 years to get my eye services. They have a great selection with eyeglasses from inexpensive to expensive. I love how they have big name brand glasses like ( Versace, D&G and many more). Cesar is the one who helps me out when it comes to picking up my glasses frames. He is always helping me pick which type of glasses fit my face structure. He's makes sure I understand the insurance I have. Making sure I get the correct eyeglasses that covers my insurance. The optometrist doctors

Before calling Golden Eye, of course like anyone else I looked at previous reviews just to see if it was a good spot to get your eyes checked. A lot of the reviews say that the staff is somewhat rude, and if they know that you have IEHP they do not help you. Well I literally just got off the phone, trying to book my first appointment here. The lady asked "before scheduling your appointment what type of insurance are using", to which I answered IEHP. As soon as I say the words, she then says "I'm sorry but we're actually no longer taking appointments at this time".

I love this optometrist. The staff is very polite and informative. Janice and Dr. Sava were super sweet and easy to talk to, and make conversation with. I'm a fan of the selection of glasses, it's easy to find a pair I like. They also go over all of your insurance options thoroughly and clearly with you.

I call to make an appointment the girl ask me for my insurance first she told me yes they have appointments then when I told her about the insurance IEHP she said they don't have appointments but really rude she said to call back in a month and in really rude way she told me that the insurance is not gonna cover nothing just the exam!!!!! You should be polite because not everyone can pay an expensive insurance!!! So never gonna go there again by the way I been there before with another expensive insurance and everything was fine!!

The Doctor was very nice & had good Equipment always go there but yesterday went to pick up my new glasses I guess I was park in the wrong area this parking lot is big the Have only about 5 employees at the most so I was there sitting in my car waiting for them to open this Lady by the name Terry pulls up & tells my to move my car because I was park in the employee parking very Rude I was there 15 min & then the girl by the name I think Janice helps me she ask me a couple questions & she gives me my glasses did not at one time sit down w me ask see if my glasses were ok I told her

I'm someone who gets nervous at any kind of doctors office. Nicole is amazing. Fantastic. Friendly. Personable. Knowledgeable. Attractive. Funny. She's really talented at putting you at ease. Nice office. Helpful staff. Wait is never long. I'd really suggest you make this your home for your vision care needs in Hesperia and the surrounding area. Rude! Entrance door states Saturday hours are by appointment, when I tried scheduling a Sat appointment was met with an abrupt "NO". No offer of apology for the misunderstanding, no offer of explanation, no offer to schedule an appointment during the week. Nothing. If you value common courtesy in your customer service, this is NOT the place for you!

I am pleased with Golden Eye Optometry. Their doctors and staff. I've been several times for exams and ordering glasses and never had to wait long.
They would ask if I wanted extras but weren't pushy.
The doctor has been very nice, accommodating and informative.
I haven't had a bad pair of glasses yet and the turnaround is about a week.

Dr. Sava and her staff were wonderful. Went in for a year eye exam and new glasses. Made the appointment the week before and got a call the day before to remind me of my appointment (which I'm so glad cause I had forgotten!). Walked right in and was taken care of! Terry was wonderful in my glasses fitting and Dr. Sava was so kind and caring! I cannot remember the doctors assistant but she was amazing too! So many choice of glasses and I finally picked out my favorite pair of glasses I have ever had! You have a customer for life!

I paid for progressive lens that caused migraines. I picked them up on Friday & returned them on Monday. The employee Terry, thought that she could lie & tell me that I couldn't get a refund and that it was VSP's policy. Little did she know I had already spoken to VSP and they have no such policy. Did she really think that I was going to just eat the $95.00? This will be the reason I find a new Optometrist. I like the doctor so I am going to talk to her about this.

I felt very comfortable during my visit. I opted for the digital retinal scan (though I'm not sure exactly what it was called) and I am glad I went for this over dilation.
They were thorough in their examination. I did not feel rushed at all and that was a relief as I want to make sure I fully understand the results of my exam.
The waiting room was well-lit and clean. Dr. Sava explained my results to me in a way that was easy to understand.

If I could give a negative star review, I would. Upon entering the office for the first time, as a new patient, the receptionist/office manager asked " what are you here for?" Hmmm, so trying to insert some humor, I said "hopefully not to see the dentist!"
